Chapter 10: The Date (Part 1)

[Jaxx's POV]
"Where are we even going?" Sora asked, there was slight joy in his voice, but also confusion.

"You'll see," I said, clearly not hiding the wide grin I had on my face.

"Your expression is scaring me more," He said, letting a small smile hit his face. "It's like you're planning to murder me or something."

I scoffed. "I would've done that, but that's not how date works."

"I've never really been on a date though."

"Really?" I turned my gaze toward his.

He nodded.

"Guess, I'll be your first then." My grin grew wider, as I focused on the road again.

We arrived at a parking lot, that seemed pretty crowded, where a huge screen was set up. A lot of cars were parked in front of it, and the back of their cars was opened and sat up, like it was their bed.

"Did you take me to a drive-in movie?" Sora raised a brow, already knowing my answer would be yes.

"How'd you guess?" I grinned.

"The big screen and the backwards parked cars totally didn't expose you."

"Damn it."

We managed to get to the second row, which was pretty lucky, and both me and Sora got out of the car and began opening the back door of my car.

I got the blankets and pillows from the backseats and we began setting it all up in the back.
