The son of a god of shadow. Still with the capabilities of his father, but not as strong. He travels through worlds out of boredom, until he arrives in a world that is similar to his. Perhaps a version of his world, but still far in the past. He meets the woman of his dreams in this world. Her name is Aiko Takahashi. They fall in love and have a child, but due to his responsibilities in his own world, he must leave. The mother understands his situation and promises to raise the child herself. His name is Akito Takahashi. A healthy child from birth, possessing abnormal physical strength for a baby, although it still wasn't close to the strength of someone the age of a teenager. We start this story when he's 10 years old.

"Hey mom! I'm back with some firewood I got from the town!" He yells, hands full of small firewood logs.

"Oh? Welcome back! That was quicker than expected Aki! Did you pay the person who was selling the wood properly?" Aiko opens the door for Akito, following him to the fireplace of the house, still concerned if her child properly understood the currency values of different coins and bills.

"Mom, it's just simple addition, seriously. It's not complicated enough to be worried about." Akito replies, understanding his mother's worry for her own son, but slightly annoyed at how it seems that she doesn't trust him with basic tasks. He sets down the firewood and starts doing calisthenic exercises.

"Well shoplifting is a serious criminal offense, you know. I'm just worried about my little boy. Also, lunch will be ready soon. I don't want you coming to the table absolutely drenched in sweat." She says smugly. But she's scared for her son. Though she understands that he inherits strength from his otherworldly father, she doesn't understand why he trains his physical strength without a goal or reason and what powers truly lie dormant within him.

"Heh, right. I'll make sure not to overdo it." He laughs. He had been training his physical strength slowly ever since he started functioning as a human being. It was like an instinctual urge to become stronger. He feels as though it's fate at work, telling him to become stronger for something. But he doesn't mull it over too much, he somewhat enjoys watching the process of his muscles growing, his strength increasing. How much stronger can he become if he keeps pushing himself like this? It determinates him, it keeps him going.

After about half an hour, Aiko calls for him. "Hey! Lunch is ready, if you really want those muscles to grow then you better eat well!" Akito, running on an empty tank from exercising, quickly rushed over to the dining room. His mother setting down food and chopsticks on the table. "Come, eat. Don't be wasteful now~."

"Thanks a bunch. Really, I don't think anyone could make as good of food as you." He sits himself down and indulges on the meal before him. Though his mother taught him well, it seems like he has a more mature personality for one his age.

"Oh it's the least I should do as your mother, I want you to grow strong and all that exercise will go to waste if you don't eat properly." She says in a calm tone, eating her own food across from Akito.

An eerie silence lasts for a few minutes. She knows that Akito wants to ask about his father and his whereabouts, but thinks that it may be a harsh topic for his mother, so he decides to stay quiet.

"Oh and mom, I plan on going back down to the town after this. I want to meet up with some of my friends, and it can be good cardio. Make me hungry for dinner, yeah?" He doesn't want to leave her alone, but he plans on starting to practice the sword with a couple of his friends. Also, katanas are pretty cool, and if he's going to be strong, he'd be even stronger with a weapon.

"Of course you can. Just make sure to be careful okay? You never know what might happen." She says, pouting. She wanted to spend time with her son, but keeping him confined in this house can reduce his social skills and she understands that.

Alito quickly finishes the rest of his lunch, and gets ready to leave again. "I'll be going now mom! I'll make sure to be back before sundown."

"Okay~. Have fun with your friends! Maybe you should invite them over sometime, I'd love to meet them." She yells back.

"Yeah, that's a good idea! I'll be on my way!"

"Just don't die! Okay?!"
A final joke between the two to finish the conversation, not to be taken seriously.
