I open my eyes as the sun shines through the window onto my face. I groan knowing classes begin in a couple of hours. Looking at my clock I see that it's 7 am once again. I don't know why, but my body always had to wake up exactly at 7.
I roll onto my side facing Riddle. His hair was a mess that slightly covered his closed eyes. His features were soft as he slept. Completely different than the unreadable one he wore yesterday.
He looked peaceful. I almost didn't want to wake him up. I sat up in my bed and smiled to myself. I swung my legs to the side of my bed and rested them on the floor.
"Riddle, time to wake up." I cooed softly. He didn't move which caused me to groan. "Riddle," I say louder from my bed.
Still nothing. I walked over to his bed and slightly leaned down. I placed my hand on his upper arm and slowly shook it.
"Riddle, wake up."
He jolted awake as he grabbed onto my arm. He looked around confused for a moment before his eyes land on me.
"Morning sleeping beauty. I'm getting you up before Mattheo." I say as he lets go of my arm.
"What time is it?" He asked in a raspy voice that sent pleasurable shivers down my spine.
"About ten minutes past seven o'clock," I say walking away. He groaned in annoyance at the time. He wanted up first.
"Wait, did you call me sleeping beauty?" He asked clenching his jaw as he sat on the edge of his bed.
"What of it? You looked calm and peaceful when you were sleeping." I turn to him, and he stands before walking towards me.
"I'm not a princess or even good-natured. Don't mistake your emotions for mine. You may be a good Slytherin but most of us, including me and Mattheo, are heartless and cold. That is the reason we are Slytherins." He says towering over my body.
I knew he was trying to intimidate me but oddly I wasn't scared of him. In my heart, I knew he was telling the truth. But I didn't want to believe it.
"I know everyone has good in them Riddle. Even if it's only a small part...there's still a part. That even means Voldemort has a good side to him." He raised his brow at my words.
"How would you know anything about him? Have you met him? No, you haven't...so therefore you know nothing of him." He goes to turn away but I grab onto his arm to stop him.
"I know he's your father. And that he and you were both born from a love potion." His eyes went wide at my knowledge. I was reading his mind without him knowing. "You may believe you can't feel emotions because of the potion but I believe everyone can feel at least one emotion. For you, that's sadness. I see it in your eyes."
He yanked his arm from my grasp and turned around. I studied his posture. He was tight with anger but also seemed confused. He clears his throat before walking to his nightstand.
"You don't know what you're talking about." He whispers loud enough for me to hear. I start to grab my things enraged by his unwillingness to talk more.
"Maybe I don't. I'm just a dumb puff after all." I say walking towards the bathroom with my clothes. I slam the door and lock it. I changed into my white shirt and black skirt. The skirt was a little too short for my liking, ending halfway down my thigh. I wrapped the green tie around my collar and did it perfectly on the first try. I looked at myself in the mirror still mad at the conversation.
I unlocked and opened the door. I stared at Mattheo for a moment before looking at Riddle.
"You can wake his ass up. I'm done talking to your sorry-ass excuse of a person." I say storming out of our room. I walked to the common room to find it empty. I groan and punch the back of the couch out of anger. I hated when my anger took root but it was too late.
