Her P.O.V

What an absolutely amazing day.

Nothing about this day wasn't going great so far.

I had gotten a 97 on a test I had absolutely no idea was even today. Plans were already in place for a party this weekend at my house. And lastly I was on my way to hang out with my best friends.

I had three whom I was extremely grateful for. Yet it had seemingly become four over the past year.

If that sounded confusing it was because frankly the whole situation was confusing.

Ansley had always been some what of a free spirit. So it was no surprise she hadn't had a long term relationship yet. Her longest was around three weeks and jesus was he a dick.

Then came Isaiah, who was potentially the sweetest thing. And he was absolutely head over heels for Lee. Well to keep things short they dated for surprisingly enough three weeks. Only to break it off and have Isaiah hate her for the majority of a year.

Well after some healing time and a few drunk texts later. They had somehow managed to become friends which in reality wasn't friends. As it was very clear Isaiah was still infatuated with her. But stubborn little Lee wasn't having it.

No sir absolutely no person could care about her like that. Which made no sense because she was so friendly to everyone. But on an intimate level it was absolutely terrible.

So after basically chasing each other around and going through those awkward we-are-together-yet-not phases they were on each other's last nerve. Until finally after many lectures and lots of convincing from me later she gave him a chance.

And may I just say I had never seen her happier then with him. But would she listen to me, absolutely not. No one ever listens to me and I have good advice.

Anyway through Ansley's love games I had gained one of the best friends I could ever ask for.

And to think is Ansley hadn't been playing so hard to get it might have been completely different.

So yeah, my best friends boyfriend is also one of my best friends. Boy could fights get ugly and really awkward for me.

But besides that our whole little group got along so well. Because we all kind of connected and came together at one point or another.

Take Morgan for example, who I had met freshman year. She was the joker who could come up with a pun or comeback quicker then anyone. And they were always funny, everyone loved her and got along with her. So it was no surprise that she had always been the one to make people laugh or feel extremely awkward.

Then there had come Ansley who I had also met freshmen year. Having transferred from some hick filled school out in the country. I had been friendly with her and been somewhat close but we had never hung out. Then our sophomore year we didn't really interact at all. But suddenly junior year we clicked and became inseparable. People would even get our names mixed up somehow and when they gave up trying to tell us apart they called us R&R as our last names were Richards and Riley. I was closest with Ansley out of all
of them and treated her more like a sister then friend.

Of course there was Isaiah whom I had absolutely despised when I had started freshmen year. And trust me he made it clear the feeling was mutual. Up until junior year we didn't even notice each other actually. Then suddenly one day during mock trial he had offered me a water during break and completely threw me off. And the rest was somewhat history.

And last came Jayson, who I had known the longest yet had the strangest relationship with. As I had known him since the age of 5 when I had started school. He had been by my side constantly until I had to move schools temporarily for a few years. Only to move again when I was just about to enter high school. In which we soon became inseparable again. But things started to change and I wasn't just talking about how he had over the course of a summer become much more attractive. We had started to flirt as if it was a sport, constantly to the point people assumed we were going to date. Yet we never had, even though we had kissed often. It was as if we were in the most noncommittal relationship yet we hadn't found interest in someone else. And that was were my friendships stood as of current.
