Light the fire within you to light the world with your fire.
P.S. Jagadeesh Kumar"Marcey" my mom yells from downstairs.
"Coming" I yell back.
She was carrying boxes from the van into our new home.
"Where's dad?"
"He's at work sweetie. Oh, I almost forgot, you have your first day of school today. If you hurry and get ready you might make the bus. If not I will give you a ride but please try. I have stuff to do here and would really like it if you took the bus."
"Sure mom, I can take the bus." The high school bus. Theres minimal stops so the closest one to my place is 5 mins away.
I run upstairs to my room. Shutting my door.
I now live in a two story house that could use a new paint job. It is a white peach kind of color. Some paint peeling off walls in a couple spots. The stairs have a step that's squeaky. And my room smells of dead rats, probably cuz the cleaners cleaned the house yesterday from the hobos living in it.
Like I said my parents are people who fix houses. We fix them live in them for a year then move. It's annoying. My family took this house as one of those fixer upper jobs. They get paid well, when they sell them.
We live in the middle of the woods that has a road that curved out of sight. It leads to town. I live with my parents and my baby brother Cory. My name is Marcey. Named after mom's middle name. I have red amber colored hair, blue eyes, and worse of all freckles. They are a light amount thankfully. Im on the skinny side that is kinda athletic almost. My personality is one you would call shy or timid. But that only goes tell i get to know you. When I do know you im described as sassy and outgoing.
But get on my bad side, some would say I have a worse attitude and temper than my mom. Which is saying alot. Considering she has to take medicince for her mood swings and anger issues. It's to help calm her down. We have what's called borderline personality disorder. It's a real thing how we're either 100% up or 100% down. In all emotions. Anger well yeah, scared, sad, insanely happy. lol.
Someone had called mom crazy at our old place and it was very bad. She had hit that person in the face twice. The person had a broken nose and somehow she had burned him. I don't know how as she left that detail out of her story to us. But I guess she was stronger than she looked. Because she certaintly had a small skinny build and wasnt at all what you would expect from a person who could throw a punch like a guy.
She went to jail for about two months. As the people who called her crazy, they tried to press charges. I was really mad sitting in my room picturing there house in flames to the point of collapse. At visiting hours I told my mom this too. The next day i went to school. I found out that there place caught fire. Apparently it was an unexplained fire..
I was freaking out at school in the bathroom. But i chalked it up to just a coincidence, i didn't do it and my mom couldn't have done it. I then went about my day alittle less freaked out. My mom came out four days after the incident. Apparently the charges were dropped.
They couldn't hold her.The people had started the fight first and she had only been defending herself, of course add defending to a little fight back. And then they were dead as well soo. Long story short she was let out.
But anyways seeing as my anger is worse than hers, i was put on stronger meds then my mom, they try not to say no to me much unless it was a huge thing to say no to. By that point they lock me in my room for an hour. That was until i reached the age of 9. I understood that if i wanted to stay away from being locked up in my room i had to calm down, take my medicine and go about my day.
