Chapter 1| Final Good-bye
"Bye Hazel, we're going out. See you later." My mom called up the stairs. I didn't get to say anything as I heard the sound of the door slam shut. I looked through my window in my room to see my parents heading into their car and backing out of the gravel drive way.
I got off my butt and headed downstairs to watch a movie. I really couldn't do anything else. I hadn't have any other little sisters or brothers to fool around with. My parents also work a lot too, so I barley see them. Summarizing everything I just said this place gets boring as hell.
I was watching a sappy love movie like all girl teenagers would do on a raining Friday. I put the film in, my eyes were glued on the T.V screen while stuffing my mouth full of gummy bears.
Half way through the movie years were spilling out from my eyes. Tissues were spread everywhere on the couch I was sitting on. The while reason I was crying is because the girl was in the hospital bed while the boy was crying his heart out. He just ground out his girlfriend slipped into coma and won't remember him.
With all the tears I had gone through my eyes were getting tired. I didn't have the strength to keep them open any longer do I let them shut close.
Ring, Ring, Ring
I bounced off the couch hitting my head on something hard but couldn't see because it was dark in the room. I groan rubbing my head where he pain hurt.
Ring, Ring, Ring
That annoying sound went on again. I realized it was the phone making that noise. So, being stupid as I was, I rushed through the living room nocking thing over and crashing into things. I knew I was going to get a bruise or two on my legs tomorrow.
I turned on the light in the kitchen to see the phone lighting up and vibrating near the sink. I actually did a little happy dance on the spot there.
"Hello?" I asked curiously, putting the phone up against my ear. "Hello, is this Hazel Thompson speaking?" a sweet voice Went through the phone. What should I do? What if she's going to murder me? Snap out of it, that's so retarded Hazel.
"Y-yes." I stuttered, not really knowing how to respond to that. I probably made my self sound like a fool. "My name is July Green, I work for the Red cross Hospital in the city. Your parents seemed to be in the hospital-," I cut her off hoping I wasn't rude or anything.
"-I'm on my way." I told July, hanging up on her I went straight to the door slipping on my shoes and jacket. I ran to my car getting in putting the key in and driving away. I was on the high way going over the speed limit a little but, I could't care less right now.

I finally got to the hospital. I ran in pushing people aside slowly making my way to the front desk. There sat a lady in a white nurse dress you would see in a movie.
"My parents are John and Rudy Thompson. I'm here to see them." I told the lady who's face was attached the the computer screen. I wonder if snails were faster to reply.
"5th floor second to the right." The lady said not dating to look up at me. How rude. I was done with her anyways. I was done as I was told going to the elevator to the 5th floor then finding the second door on the right.
I knocked on the door waiting impatiently for somebody to open the door. I saw the other people pass by with sad and emotionless faces. Some were sitting by doors waiting to see what will happen when the door opens.
"You can come in now." A lady said who I was guessing was the doctor opening the door for me. I nod and follow her in the room. The room had baby blue wall with chairs by the beds. The bed covers had white and blue pock-a-dots on them.
