CHAPTER 13 REVENGE

-Amity?! What are you doing here?! The house was supposed to have a spell, besides, it's impossible that you could have knocked Hooty out -the Dominican moved away from the witch, however, she couldn't move her legs to run away from the place and apparently the Thai woman couldn't do more than hold Luz's hand with more strength.

-I know, but in the library I found a way to undo the spell and I managed to get rid of that owl," a disappointed grimace appeared on Amity's face. Luz, it hurt me so much that you asked Eda to use a spell to keep us away.... So much has happened since the last time; my father is disappointed in me, my mother sees me as useless and my siblings have been distant with me. I really didn't want it to end like this.

-I'm sorry to hear that, wait, I'm not. You brought this on yourself," Luz looked spitefully at the witch.

-To make it worse you come out with your "I didn't want it to end like this", obviously it was going to end like this, you almost murdered my best friend and you're complaining about it! -Anne mumbled, trying to contain her fury.

-Luz, I came here to apologize to you, I love you and I know my feelings are reciprocal," looked at Amity hopefully, approaching the Dominican and then snatching Luz's hand (which was holding Anne's) to hold on to it. We can be girlfriends or still be friends! You can decide!

-Amity... -Luz was petrified before the witch's words, she turned her head and met a look full of uneasiness and with some tears held back belonging to the Thai girl, without a doubt that look did not fit that girl. In a second Luz abruptly moved away from Amity, separating her hands-. Have you gone crazy! I don't feel anything for you anymore, we stopped being friends when you tried to kill Sprig! I really didn't think you were capable of doing something like that... I thought you had changed, that you were a kind and gentle person. Thanks to you I now know that appearances can be deceiving!

Silence reigned, fueling the present situation with uncertainty. Anne, regaining her sense of courage, looked indignantly at the witch and then addressed her a few harsh words.

-You heard her, get out now if you don't want me to force you out," Anne tried to control her courage, but failed, for her voice showed her feelings.

A sudden blow from an abomination made by the witch sent the Thai woman flying, who let out a scream of pain as she crashed at high speed into a wall.

In a span of seconds the witch managed to summon countless abominables, who she immediately ordered to attack the Thai, surprising the latter by the speed of the attack on each abominable. Anne barely managed to dodge these attacks, sweating in each exhausting movement.

-Leave her alone! shouted the Dominican desperately and then used a glyph of light to momentarily blind the green-haired witch.

-Light, why did you do that?! -Amity rubbed her eyes in a vain attempt to regain her sight. Summoning another abominable she managed to capture and immobilize Luz.

-Let go of me, you slimy thing! -shouted the brunette, irritated, trying to free herself from the grip of the witch's creation.

-Luz, I don't want to hurt you, so please don't get involved in our battle," the young woman finished speaking and when she heard a sudden roar she turned her gaze, finding an unexpected scene.

Anne gripped her sword more firmly, determined to leave the defensive and go on the attack, as her companion was in trouble. With agility and speed, the Thai woman began to strike down each of the abominable creatures.
