Mafia shit???

I looked up as i heard some noise coming from the seat in front of me to find the person i had been waiting for for the past 30 minutes

"Glad you could finally make it " I said with a dry smile
"Yeah me too" honestly the audacity of this bitch ,

he most have sensed my annoyance too cause his next words surprised me
"If you get this annoyed from my little attitude i wonder how your gonna react towards kenma"
"What's that supposed to mea-"
"Nevermind doesn't matter"there he does again cutting me off like an asshole you know if i didn't need money i wouldnt even be having this conversation with him

"You hungry "

"Nah I'm fine" what i said didn't matter anyway cause he called a waiter over anyways and ordered two sandwiches with apple juice
I watched the waiter walk away from our table , my sight lingerering on him longer than usual cause he was one of my co workers well ex coworkers the little shit didn't even make one glance in my direction what an asshole , my gaze returned to my rooster haired companion

"Whats your name "
"Huh" was his short reply probably a sign that i caught him off guard with my question

"Well y/n that's a surprise cause i know your name "
"First of all why would that be a surprise when you didn't tell me your name and second of all you probably did the some weird mafia investigation shit on my background and stuff "

"Oh yeah , i totally forgot to tell you my name , it's kuroo Teysurou by the way " The name didn't ring a bell and if my guess about him being in the mafia was right that would probably be why

"Well you already know my name so there's no need of saying it again"

"Well i guess your right but courtesy demands tha-" our conversation was cut short when the waiter arrived with our food not that i was paying attention to what he was saying in the first place

But i wasn't in the mood to eat not right now anyway but kuroo on the other hand looked like he had the whole time in the world

I had to wait for kuroo to finish eating before i started with my questions not that i particularly cared if he choked on a lettuce but i decided to use that time to gather my questions ,

But when he did finish eating he pushed to plate aside and stared expectantly at me which i took as my cue to start with my questions

"So umm i pretty much get the whole gist from what you said the last time ,
You want me to go work for this kenma guy and get you some files on a flash and after that your gonna pay me some money , there anything else you i need to know cause I'm ready to accept to job "

"Okay well first of all I'm not paying you after the job , I've sent you some money already use that to take yourself shopping get some new clothes and pay for your brother's treatme-"

"How do you know about my brother " but all he did was smirk and then he continued what he was saying not even bothering to answer my question which only confirmed my suspicions that he was involved in some mafia shit
"As i was saying before you rudely interrupted me miss L/N, the money im giving you will be enough to pay for the first phase of your brothers treatment as for the second phase that money will come after your job is done orrrr until i see promises of you actually completing the job without running away with my money "

" okay but why are you helping me "

" i believe that by paying for the first phase of your brothers treatment which will atleast allow him to go home and continue with his normal life , you will be able to fully concentrate on the job i gave you"
