When Hailey made it to the hospital the next morning with baby shoes and baby gifts for her husband too open up to let him know that their going to have a baby when he wakes up.
When she made it too William's desk she didn't see him, a women who was almost Hailey's age came to his desk and said..
" Oh hi, you must be William's sister in law my names Natalie Manning." Natalie said
" Hi yes I am! My names Hailey Halstead Nee Upton, nice to meet you." Hailey said as they shook hands as William came in after a few minutes later
" Oh Hailey what a nice surprise! Here to see Jay?." William asks
" Yeah uh to give him a surprise new member." Hailey said and he smiled
" Ooh is their a new member joining the Halstead family?." Natalie asked them
" Yeah Hailey's pregnant with Jay's kid." William said and she smiled
" Congratulations Hailey I know that you'll be a wonderful mother." Natalie said and Hailey was touched by her words
" Thank you Nat, I appreciate it." She said
" So Jay's room right, follow me." William said as Hailey walked with him
In Jay's hospital room
" Do you know when he will wake up?." Hailey asks him as they both walked inside
" Umm! I just got the results back and it said that he should be waking back up like around 2 or 5 in the afternoon." William said as she nodded
" Alright! Well I have work so call me when Jay wakes up, oh and tell him that I dropped by & gave him a little surprise." Hailey said as William chuckles softly
" Well do Mrs. Halstead." He said as she laughed and walked out of the hospital after waving good bye to Natalie before she walks her way over to the exit door
Couple of minutes later
" So Hailey uh! How is she doing?." Natalie asks him as the blonde girl left
" She's well she wasn't doing great for the first few years, because my brother left her to join the army back in Bolivia." William said and Natalie was heartbroken
" She must of been so stressed." She said as he nodded
" Oh yeah she was, she kept on calling me every single night if Jay had called me." He said
" Well even thought I don't know about your relationship with Jay and your relationship with Hailey I'm glad that he's back in Chicago and okay." Natalie said as he smiled
" Thanks Natalie!." William said
5:00pm - Couple of hours later
" Has Jay woken up yet?." Hailey asks as she came a couple hours later
" No! It's barley 5:00, why don't you go home, Eat, and shower & well call you if he wakes up." William said as she nodded and left again
7:00pm - Nighttime
" Will!."
" Jay? Can you hear me? Buddy open your eyes!." William said to his brother
" Will, where's Hailey?."
" I told her to go home to take a shower and eat something." He said as he saw his brother nodded
" I just miss her so much, I don't want to go back." Jay said as tears started to stream down his face
" Hey I'll make sure that you don't go back I promise." William said as he nodded
" Okay, can you call Hail-." Jay was cut off by Natalie who came in
" Don't worry Halstead I have already called your wife she's on her way." Natalie said as he smiled
" Thanks Natalie." Jay said and she nodded
" Oh yeah Jay, she came by earlier to give you a surprise." William said pointed to where she left it
" Wait, does that mean I'm going to be a-." Jay was cut of his own words when Hailey had arrived
" I'M PREGNANT AND WHERE HAVING A BABY." Hailey shouted excited and Jay was shocked
