Joao's parents

Today was the day. I was meeting his parents today. João had told me a few things about them last night at dinner. He told me there wasn't anything to worry about and I'd be fine.

Considering we both haven't met each others parents, I think I was more nervous about this then João is going to be when he meets mine.

"What are you going to wear?" Paris asked me. "A Messi jersey." I joked. "Haha very funny." Paris said tossing me João's Portugal jersey that he gave me. "Maybe jeans with that?" I told her. She looked through my drawer with my pants and picked out some white oversized jeans. "Here, try this on." She told me.

I tried on a few outfits and choose one. "Great, well the game isn't till later so we're good for a little." I told Paris.

We ended up walking around Lisbon before choosing a place to eat lunch at. "This is really good." I told Paris. "I know right." She said.

We ended up going back to our hotel and laying around for a little. "João told me to be there at 19:30!" I yelled. "Okay well let's start getting ready!" She yelled back. "Okay!" I shouted.

And just like Paris and I were in a cab driving to the field. "I hope they win this game." I said looking out the window. "They will." Paris said not phased. She'd been to about 100 games now with my parents in Spain and watched Portugal play at least 10 times and most of them they've won.

"Here you are." The driver said with a strong Portuguese accent. "Thank you." Paris said and handed him some cash.

We were escorted in my security due to Paris's fame and me being João Felix's girlfriend. We stopped to take a lot of pictures and sign shirts, pictures, whatever they had. I didn't realize that Paris was this famous.

We eventually got to the vip lounge and jeez, there were so many people I think I was going to faint. "Hello, you must be Felix's girlfriend." A lady said. "Yes I am." I told her. She walked me to my seat and boom. João's parents were right there.

"Oh it's so good to finally meet you!" João's mom said hugging me. "Nice to meet you to!" I said hugging her back. "You're sister, yes?" She asked. "Yes." I replied. "Hello." His dad said. "Hi Mr. Felix." I said. "Oh please, call me Carlos." He said. I smiled back and told him ok. "Hello Hugo." I said elbowing him lightly in the stomach. "Hey short girl." He said pretending he was hurt by my action.

Hugo and I had grown our relationship after he left and to the point where I consider him a brother.

We all sat down when the game started and nonetheless I was happy all the awkward meeting shit was out of the way. I saw João look up at us and smile and wave.

Then the game started. We all sat there, intensely. "I'm going to get a water, anyone want anything?" I asked getting up. "No I'm good." Everyone said aside from Hugo. He agreed to go with me. "So how's it been with João?" He asked. "Good." I told him. He poked my shoulder and said, "Look it's Georgina, Ronaldo's wife." "Woah." I said in shock.

We grabbed our water and then headed back to our seats.

The game ended, Portugal won which I was very happy about. "It was nice to meet you, Lia." Carla said. "Nice to meet you to." I said smiling.

I walked down with Hugo and Paris to go to the locker rooms. "Linda!!" João said hugging me. "Congrats on your victory!" I said hugging him back. He eventually let go of me and greeted his brother and my sister. "Nice to see you again Paris." He said. "You too." She said.

João drove us back to our hotel considering we were pretty tired and he was to. "Goodnight love." He said kissing my cheek. "Goodnight." I said. "Alright love birds, wrap it up I'm tired." Paris said sarcastically. "Ok ok!" I said walking away from João.

We walked back into the hotel and made it back to our room safely. I got ready for bed while Paris ordered some room service. "This looks so good." I said looking down at the food. "Agreed." Paris said.

We ate and I fell asleep right when I hit my bed.
