It was now Friday and you were surprised, Kazuha hadn't mentioned the night of the party all week. In fact, everything was normal. You were expecting her to never let you hear the end of it but you both just bickered in lesson as usual, confusing you even more. But it was for the better, maybe she agreed it was just an embarrassing moment and was being nice about it?

Ever since the party, you'd also been dodging Karina. It wasn't that she did anything wrong, she didn't owe you any feelings, but it was still awkward seeing her even if she didn't know yours. Of course you exchanged small talk in lessons you shared together, or when you bumped into each other in the corridor, but besides that, you chose to distance yourself. You decided it was better that you found out now before you began to like her even more than you already did.

You and Ningning walked to French, finding someone you hadn't seen before sat in her seat.

"Excuse me, you're sat in my seat." Ningning said awkwardly, tapping the pretty girl. She looked up confused.

"Oh my bad," she continued, "I'm new, I didn't know."

"Don't worry about it, you can take the one next to me, nobody sits there."

"Thanks. I'm Aeri, by the way." She reached out her hand, looking between you and Ningning to see who would take it. Ningning did.

"Pleasure, this is Y/N, and this is Ningning." She giggled referring to herself in third person. Aeri smiled and the teacher walked in to start the lesson. That didn't stop Ningning and Aeri from talking, it annoyed you and you didn't know why. You knew you shouldn't have judged Aeri for being Kazuha's friend, but it annoyed you that she actually turned out to be likeable and nice, unlike someone.

At lunch, Ningning brought Aeri to the table to introduce her to Eunchae and Yunjin. And of course, as if to spite you, they also hit it off. Already laughing and creating inside jokes. You decided to join in, she seemed nice, maybe you could be good friends. And you couldn't ignore how pretty she was, she had long brown hair down to her hips, thick eyeliner and a cute Japanese accent.

Everything was going well, until two girls came walking up from behind, the familiar perfume informing you who it was.

"Aeri, why did you sit here with them?" The tall one asked, her eyes not on Aeri but looking at the back of your head.

"Come sit! They're all nice, I met Ning in French." Aeri explained between chews.

Just as you expected another retort, to your surprise, Kazuha and Sakura took up the remaining seats at the circular table. She was sat opposite you, Aeri next to Ningning and Sakura next to Yunjin. It was awkward.

"So.." Eunchae dragged out trying to break the silence.

You made eye contact with her, she smirked and you knew she sat down here to piss you off.

"Does she know about the field trip?" Ningning asked everyone but only looking at Aeri.

"Oh, yeah Sakura told me. We should all sneak some drinks it'd be fun."

"Oh, we already are!" Ningning smiled, wrapping her arm around her new friend. Clearly forgetting how certain people at this table were not meant to know.

"Ningning!" You whisper-shouted while nudging her shoulder.

"Oops, my bad." She replied, covering her mouth and looking awkwardly at Kazuha and Sakura.
