04[Unexpected escape]

Once dinner ended.

Aether had other plans to attend to in the Abyss.
I, myself, am still stuck.
Am I really the person Aether claims myself to be?
If not, Why? Why am I here…
I don't even know anymore.

I didn't know what to do. I'm trapped.
In my room. Wondering.
What shall I ever do?
Maybe that little boy might know what to do…
I slowly but surely got up from my vanity and headed straight towards my bed.
One I was engulfed by my sheets. I thought of the sweet place we'd always talk at.
A meadow of pure beauty with its flowers. The sky, crystal clear, and a smooth breeze that felt a bit icy.
How come I can't feel those things here in this reality.

I never heard that voice before. Who was that?
I slowly began to flutter my eyes open and locked eyes with another child.

"Here! Let's get you up!" The new child began to reach their hands towards me. I began to reach out to her but felt hesitant. "It's ok… I won't hurt you…" they giggle before pulling me up. "Thank you… little child… May I  get your name?" I ask. But they shook their heads.
"I don't have a name… I don't even know who I am." They sighed sadly.
"Hmm… Maybe I could give you a name?" I suggested and I could feel their excitement shining "yes! That would be amazing!" They smiled while I began to look around.
"Maybe… Qingxin? It's my favourite flower here…" I suggested while handing over the flower in my hand as they took it happily. "Thank you!"

Once she took the flower. A strong gust of wind blew in my direction. I immediately closed my eyes shut and tried my best to stand my ground. The wind continued to get stronger and stronger till it had lifted me off the ground. Sending me flying.
I began to yell at the top of my lungs for help but the wind hand threw me onto a wall.
Once I reopened My eyes. The sky was red. The wall behind me was black. And a scary figure stood in front of me.

"Leave."

"What?" I asked.

"Runaway."

"Why!" I yelled
"Save that child."

"Who?" I asked "the boy or Qingxin?"

"Before time runs out…"

The figure began to fade away before leaving a shiny glowing blue rock on the floor.

When I awoke. I was covered in sweat.
I turn to my right hand and saw the rock in my hand. It had a weird water symbol on it.
Just what was it?
Maybe Aether may still be out.
I quickly hopped out of bed and slowly made it through the house and to a room filled with books.
Once I was inside. The rock seemed to glow a bit brighter. To the point my eyes could see weird traces. Scattered across the floor. Some were blue. Others were red.
I began to follow the traces of the blue partials around the room before it had lead me to an old book. Opened. As if someone was studying it.

"The history of Teyvat"

The title of the book. I then began to flip through the pages before I saw the same symbol that was on the rock. "Element… Hydro?" I spoke to myself. I continue to read more of the contents of the book. "Eye of the gods… Vision's… archons…"
Once I had hit the page archon.

A name had rung a bell. "Morax…"

Aether had stated he was a Mafia leader just like him. Demanding for something…
As I continue to flip through the pages.

My heart immediately dropped. When a cold hand had grabbed my wrist.
My heart immediately began speeding up as I slowly turned my head to lock eyes with Aether. Who's expression wasn't a pleasant one. But one full with anger…
"Y/N… Why are you up so late" he asked Ina cold harsh voice. His grip on my wrist began to tighten as I yelped in pain. "Why are you keeping your mouth shut… I thought you'd love me…" He laughs.

I knew my situation would get worse… as I saw his hands pull out a syringe. Was it the memory erasing drug? I began to scream out loud for help but I knew no one was going to come after me. "Shh… This won't gurt a bit… This will just erase a few events…" He sighs as a begin to make an attempt to pull my hand away from the needle.

"NO!"

I yelled before the vision that I had put in my pocket began to glow. Summoning a water shaped knife flying towards Aether. Making a cut on his cheek and stabbing his shoulder. He immediately let go of me and I immediately ran past him to the doors of the room. But. The kind Aether I thought I knew. Began to laugh menacingly. Laughs that echoed through the room. Turing the building colder than ice. Sending thousands of shivers down my spine.
"So you knew what was in here" he laughed before looking straight at me with his piercing stare. "And you even obtain a vision? How charming…" He smiled before he made his way towards me  again.

"Run…"

What was that. It wasn't Aether.

"Run…"

My legs began to skate as I struggled to stand

"Leave…""

I don't want any of this….

"Y/N RUN!"

Once those words were yelled into my ear. I ran. This hydro vision created the same shard of water. But so much larger in size. Charing at the door alongside me. I was finally out of the house. But. I wasn't going to stop.
I ran. Just like that voice said.

I didn't care anymore. Who ever that this Aether really was. I need to run away.

I was just running through the forest at the dead of night now. Trees. Bushes. Hills. We're hard to see.
But thing started to get hard to see. My eyes were covered by my tears.
Bang.
My whole world came tumbling down as I fell over.
A sharp pain emerged from my ankle before my mind began to hurt like crazy.
With all my energy left. I got up yet again in pain and started to run again

"Leave"

"Save them"

"Save him"

Those words circle around my head before my world turns black…

I continued to go through the forest of Natlan before the scent of blood emerged from my nose.

Before he had fallen to the ground. Once he was out cold. I began to inspect his target.
"Who are they…" I wondered. I immediately took out my mini first aid kit and treated her wounds before picking them up and taking out my walkie talkie.

"Yo! Mr Zhongli. Book an extra ticket for the ride back to Liyue."
