Days have passed and Mio continues to change her way of interacting with Tiger. Everyone keeps noticing but chose to keep quiet for now about it. Tiger continues to look at Mio with sadness ever so often. During break time, Mio gets called by coach, as he sits down on the bench
"Ah!" Griz yells
"Hey what's going on?"--Big Bo
"What's wrong Griz?"--Eagle Eye
"Look at this!" Griz says
Everyone looks at each other and approaches Griz, who's holding a gossip magazine. When they all take a look at one page, their jaws drop. It's a picture of Liquido and Mio in a restaurant, having dinner together. Twisting Tiger's heart drops at the picture
"What is Mio doing with Liquido?"--North
"Rar Rar"--Blok
"You okay brother?" Cool Joe asks Tiger but he could only clench his fists
"Maybe this is just a misunderstanding, don't let it get to your heads too much" Dancing Rasta says to make Tiger feel a little better
"Y-Yeah, it could even be edited" Noah says
Mio returns to the pitch
"Mio, is it true you went out to dinner with Liquido?" Klaus asks as he shows the gossip magazine
"Oh reporter must've been following us, but yes, Liquido and I attended dinner" Mio confirms, earning a heartache from Tiger
"Why would you go? I thought you were into Tiger?" North asks
The five players who knew what happened days prior shakes at this, and the four glares at El Matador
"Well you know, better to be open minded and let others in heart" Mio smiles, but she keeps the real reason buried in her heart

"You alright with this Tiger?" Aldo asks
"Y-Yes of course" Tiger nods, making Mio sad
"Anyway, back to practice, Hydra game is day after tomorrow" Mio says in an attempt to close the topic
After practice--
"Good job boys. I expect you to be in top shape against Hydra. Have a good night's rest" Coach says before leaving
"I can't wait to relax!" Shakes says
Twisting Tiger is about to call out to Mio, when her phone starts ringing. She picks up
"Oh Liquido!" she says
'L-Liquido?!'--Tiger
"What's he doing calling her?"--North
"Dinner at a beach bar? That sounds nice. I rarely go to beaches, especially at night. Yes, Mio would love to go!" Mio says as she starts walking away
"Do you think she's doing this to make you jealous?" Klaus suggests
"Mio is not sneaky like that!" Tiger says in Mio's defense
"This must be Mio's attempt to move on. Being that she probably got tired of waiting for you to make a move" El Matador says
"Dude!"--Shakes
"Seriously?"--North
"Just be quiet brother"--Cool Joe
Everyone glares at El Matador
"Eh hehe" El Matador looks away sheepishly
"I get it! Just leave me alone!" Tiger says as he escapes to the locker room
Tiger sits on the locker room bench and drapes a towel over his head as tears starts falling down his eyes
'I can't blame this on anyone but myself. Everyone's right it's because I too scared'
As Tiger wallow in sadness, the other Supa Strikas players are scolding El Matador when suddenly, they hear footsteps behind them. When they turn around, they are shocked to see who it is
Back to Twisting Tiger. He's still deep in sadness when someone starts knocking at the doors
"Dude, it's Shakes. You have a visitor" Shakes says from the other side of the door
"Visitor?" Tiger repeats questioningly
The doors open, revealing Shakes with Miko Chen
"Miko?!" Tiger asks in surprise
"It's been a while, brother" Miko smiles
"Well, I'll leave you two to it" Shakes says before leaving, closing the doors behind him
"What are you doing here Miko?" Tiger asks
"Nakama have match with Invincible United, Miko worries for Mio so came here to check on you two" Miko explains
"I'm really sorry Miko" Tiger says as he explains the situation to his best friend
"What? Mio accepted Liquido's invitation? Since when did he become Mio's type?" Miko says in confusion
"Then where Mio staying?" Miko asks worriedly
"I not know. She won't tell" Tiger says guiltily as he sits back down on the bench
Instead of being mad at the situation, Miko Chen instead sits down next to his friend
"Tell me Tiger, why haven't you make move on Mio all these years? You obviously like her too" Miko asks
'Should I tell him?'
Seeing how silent he is, Miko speaks again
"Does it have something to do with me?" Miko asks sadly
"What? No no. It's not you nor Mio. It's me" Tiger starts telling Miko what happened with his past relationship
Miko listens intently as Tiger also explains how important Miko and Mio are to him
"Tiger, Three of us have been friends since childhood. Normal for friends to fight. But when they make up, bond get stronger. Miko doubted you before, but thanks to El Matador, I know you remain true friend, I'll never doubt you again. Mio on other hand never doubt you for a second. Nothing would make me happier than seeing two most important people in my life be happy. Three of us will never get awkward. Let go of the past Tiger" Miko says to his best friend sincerely
"Miko" Tiger whispers, touched by his words
"I know you will make Mio happy. You should be more honest about how you feel"
"Yes, you're right. All these years, Mio has been nothing but honest about her feelings. It's my turn to do same" Tiger smiles
"That's the spirit. We should go see Mio and Liquido"
"Yes but, we don't know where they went"
"No worries. Mio and I share our locations through phones" Miko says as he takes out his phone
The two players checks the phone to see Mio and Liquido's location. They instantly go to Twisting Tiger's car to go to the designated place. Sitting silently, Twisting Tiger breaks the silence
"Thanks for talking to me Miko. I don't think I would be able to finally take step forward if you didn't talk to me" Tiger says gratefully
"From now on, let's be more honest with eachother, yes?" Miko smiles
"Right" Tiger smiles back
Thanks to Miko, Twisting Tiger finally have the courage to move forward. And their bond became stronger than ever
