Sage High: Layla's Adventures

A new beginning

      Layla was led to her room by professor crumbs. In her room was another girl who her introduced herself as Bianca, Layla's roommate. The headmaster left the two girls and made his way to his office.
        "Well... Welcome to Sage high I am going to be your tour guard for today. Your bed is nicely layed and your clothes are nicely folded in your wardrobe" Bianca said with a smile. "Did you do all of this for me?" Layla asked in dismay. "Yep I did and don't worry I am going to be the best roommate buddy you've ever seen" says Bianca.
                          "Well I have never had a roommate before since I have no friends but I guess I am ready to know how it feels like to have a friend by your side" Layla said while smiling at Bianca
Bianca smiled back and the tour around the school begun. Layla was shown a lot of places in the school like the cafeteria, the library,the room filled with magic brooms,the trophy cabinet,the room for wizards duel and many others. When the tour was over it was time for supper so the girls made their way to the cafeteria. The food was served to them and both girls took their seat at the furthest end of the gigantic room. Layla asked"why aren't you sitting with the other kids?" "Well because no one likes me and they all think I am annoying just because my parents are poor and I am not a great witch like they are" she reply in a really sad tone. "I'm really sorry I never knew a sweet person like you have no friends" Layla says with great concern. " Well I guess it doesn't matter because I've got you and that's enough for me" Bianca replies. Both girls looked at each other smiling for they knew their friendship was going to be a wonderful one.
           The next morning Layla was awaken by the buzzing sound of an alarm clock. "Can someone please turn that thing off it's so loud" she says as she covered her face with her blanket.      "Sorry miss but it's morning and we have to be in class" says Bianca. Layla immediately jumped out of her bed and made her way to the bathroom. The two girls walked to the classroom together when Layla was done.

                    Layla was introduced to the whole class as a new student in sage high. She immediately took the seat right beside Bianca since she was the only one she knew. "Okay students for today we are going to learn about using magic to heal small wounds on a body" says the teacher. The teacher made a cut on his finger and said the spell"let this wound return to what   it use to be" in a twinkle of an eye the cut on the teachers hand was healed.
 

        The students cheered the teacher on. The teacher then called a student in the back row to step forward and try the spell the teacher just did. The student was successful and was applauded by everyone. The teacher then called Layla out to come and try the spell. "Umm...sir I'm new here ,so I don't think I should do this" she said which a nervous smile. "Don't be silly darling, I've seen everyone casting spell before and since you are new I want to see how good you are. Layla tried to make excuses but failed so in the end she had to do it.                              She made a cut on the teachers finger, she then said the spell but instead of healing the teachers wound she ended up dressing the teacher up in a princess outfit."I'm so sorry I didn't mean to I only wanted to heal but I don't know what I did wrong" Layla says in a worried voice. "The only thing you did wrong is not knowing you are a loser Barbie" says a boy in the back row. Everyone burst into laughter as tears filled Layla's eyes. She immediately walked out of the classroom as Bianca followed. " You don't have to be hurt by their words. You know that you are not a loser and I do to ,so why being sad. I know their words are hurtful but remember why you came here" said Bianca. Layla looked at her friend whiles wiping off her tears. "Thanks so much,I don't know how I would survive if I hadn't met you" said Layla. Bianca smiled at her and held Layla's hand as they walked back into the classroom.
                            When the bell rang for lunch the two girls went to their usual spot and sat down to enjoy their meal. Just then all girls begun squealing scaring the hell out of Layla.                                     "What the hell was that?"Layla asked looking confused. Bianca replies saying" I guess the charming prince has arrived" Layla stared at her clueless."What I meant was that Dylan the most handsome boy in school has finally returned from his vacation with his family"said Bianca.
              Layla nodded in understanding to what Bianca said. Dylan walked into the cafeteria with his friends behind him and girls around him who kept drooling over his looks. "Hmmm... haaa I wish I could have your jacket I would never take it off" said one girl in the crowd.
                                "Geez I never knew girls could go Gaga just because of some boy with a pretty face"said Layla looking surprise.
"Well don't be surprised that's highschool for you and don't blame them because he's too pretty for girls to resist his charm but I guess you and I are the only girls who don't get startrucked by his charm"says Bianca. Layla nodded in agreement.
 

                           Dylan suddenly spotted Layla and was mesmerized by her looks. He suddenly approached her table and introduced himself. "How are you doing beautiful isn't it a perfect day for a perfect date" said Dylan smirking. "Sorry doll face but we are not in the mood for games" said Layla as she got up to leave." Hey wait I'm sorry I didn't know I was being a jerk. By the way nice to meet you" says Dylan with a smile. " well nice to meet you too Dylan,I'm Layla " replied Layla not looking convinced by Dylan's gestures.
             He smiled at her and then excused himself leaving Layla and Bianca clueless.
