"What?!" I say very surprised by what my homeroom teacher just said.
"What?!"
"What?!"
"What?!"
My best friends Tyler, Kaylee, and Jason say. People call us the cell phone kids. We are obsessed. But did you hear what my teacher said? NO MORE PHONES ALLOWED AT SCHOOL! I can't believe it...
"Jess, what are we gonna do?" Tyler said to me.
"Trust me, if I knew I'd tell you. No emoji could describe this feeling." I say. In case you haven't heard, Emojis are kinda Kaylee and I's thing.
"That's it!" Kaylee yells.
"What's it?" Jason asks Kaylee.
"We need to protest. We'll start little by little to get phones back. 5 days a week at school, we only communicate through our school IPads. Using Emojis!" She says like it's the brightest idea in the world. It might actually be! "When we do it, others will join. Soon, hopefully, all the teachers will give us our phones because they'll get tired of no talking. Starting tomorrow, we put the emoji project into action!"
"YES!" We all sing happily.
