Cosmina Potter is Harry Potter's younger sister. She will have to learn how to accept her Slytherin side in Hogwarts as she works out her own differences from her brother.

"Come on, Mina !" Harry calls. We're late to King Cross. Which isn't good at all. Harry just finished loading his trunk onto the train, and I am doing that now. Yes ! I finish and run onto the train just as it starts moving. Phew. Thank goodness. Harry laughs. I smile and shove him.
"Not funny, you idiot !" I say. That just makes him laugh more. Ugh. Sometimes, I hate my brother. Yet I don't, if that makes sense.
"See you soon, Mina." Harry says, walking off to join Ron and Hermione. I smile and turn the other way. I can't find my famous four in any other compartments, so I assumed that they're in the Slytherin compartments. Ugh. Oh, well. I open the door and everyone looks up. Yeah, they're here. I smile as Beth jumps up to hug me.
"Mina, I missed you ! And I've heard about Sirius Black ! I'm so sorry ! And what happened with Marge ? Did you really turn her purple and add tentacles ? Did Harry really blow her up ? Did they starve you again ? Are you—" Beth asked me, rambling on. Theo cuts her off, pulling her away from me.
"Let the girl breathe, Beth." He says. Beth chuckles, so quietly. I gratefully smile at Theo and fling my arms around him. He's shocked at first, but then hugs me back. I smile.
"Good to see you again, Mina." He says.
"You too, Theo." I say, pulling away. I notice Draco angrily looking at Theo with Pansy on his arm, I also noticed Blaise in the corner. I smile and hug him too. He just stiffens.
"Mina, you know I don't do hugs." He says. I just laugh and hug him tighter.
"I'm only gonna let go if you hug me back." I say. I feel him roll his eyes and I swear that he's smiling. He hugs me back and I smile too, letting him go.
"See, it wasn't that hard !" I say. He just chuckles and shakes his head.
"Are there any other free compartments ?" Beth asked me while looking at Draco, Pansy, and the boulders. I nod.
"Yeah, I saw a couple of them. Come on." I say to my famous four group. We turn to the door.
"Mina !" A voice stops me. I turn back around to see Draco.
"What happened to my hug/hello ?" He asked me. I laugh.
"I'm sorry, Draco. That's never gonna happen. We have to be friends first. Besides, I think that Pansy will give you all the hugs that you need." I say and wink at him. Then, I walk out with my famous four group, chuckling. We find an empty compartment together and sit down, talking about our holidays. I told them all about mine, and answered all of Beth's questions from before. The others looked shocked. I smile.
"That's what happens when you live with the famous Harry Potter !" I say, laughing. The others smile, too, but then, the train stops. I furrow my brow.
"We can't be there yet." I say as the others look at me.
"Maybe we've broken down ?" Beth suggested it to us. I shake my head and stand up. I opened the compartment and stuck my head out, looking for what's happening. I catch Draco's eye and go to say something, but the train gives a violent lurch and I fall backwards into the compartment, landing next to Theo. The lights flicker off and he puts his arm around me. I lean into him as the train turns icy cold. The window frosts over and I can see our breaths clearly in the air. The train lurches again and I shiver. I don't like this. All of a sudden, I feel sad like the world is being rid of all its warmth and happiness. I don't like this at all. Theo pulls me closer to him, just as the door opens. I look up to see a hooded figure standing in the doorway. It sorta floats. I feel even more drained and depressed now. It scans the compartment and looks at me. It stares at me for a while as Theo protectively pulls me closer. The creature finally decided to move on. I bury my head in Theo's chest. He hugs me.
"That was so scary." I hear Beth say. I agree. The lights flicker back and we start moving. I look up at the doorway, just to make sure it's gone. It has. Good.
"What was that ?" I asked them, while slightly pulling away from Theo.
"A dementor." Blaise replied. I shudder. I don't like it. Suddenly, the door bursts open and it's Draco that comes in.
"Are you alright, Mina ?" He asked me. I smile at him.
"Yeah, just a bit shaken." I replied. Theo pulls me closer again.
"Why do you care ?" He growls. Draco glares daggers at him. I look between the two boys. If looks could kill...
"Umm, guys ?" I asked them. They look at me and stop glaring at each other.
"Right. Bye." Draco says while leaving. I frown.
"What was that about ?" I asked them. Blaise starts laughing.
"You're so naive, Mina !" He says. I frown. Huh ? Theo hits him on the head. Blaise stops laughing.
"Sorry, mate. But she's gotta know." He says.
"Know what ?" I asked them. The boys just started at each other. I huff.
"Fine, then. I'm gonna go see Harry." I say and walk away. Beth comes with me.
I opened my brother's compartment. He's so pale and he's staring at nothing. I sat down next to him.
"You okay, big bro ?" I asked him. He looks at me, snapping out of his trance.
"Yeah. I just passed out." Harry replies. I stare at Ron and Hermione.
"What happened ?" I asked them. They fill me in on the dementors' curious behavior towards Harry and how he heard a voice of a woman screaming. I looked at my brother, so worriedly. I take his hand and squeeze it. He smiled, so grimly, at me.
"We should probably get going." Beth says to me. "I think we're almost there." I nod and squeeze Harry's hand as a goodbye.
Beth and I meet up with Theo and Blaise. They are still upset with each other. I look between the two and frown at Beth. She shrugs, but I have a feeling that she knows more than I do about them. I just shrug as well.
When we arrive at Hogwarts, I sit down in between Theo and Blaise. They're staring at each other, trying to communicate with their eyes. I sigh and eat. Then, Draco turns around to the Gryffindor table.
"Hey, Potter ! Is it true you fainted ! I mean, you actually fainted ?" He said, mocking my brother. I frown and glare at him. He catches my eye and looks down. Wow. So much for saying sorry. I roll my eyes and keep on eating, while ignoring my friends.
