jay doesn't see the world like everyone else does. he's extremely careless, unpredictable and isn't afraid to take risks even if it means putting his life in danger. he's weirdly obsessed with money and success. he's really short tempered and can get really scary when pissed off, even though he seems really calm at first. even though he doesn't seem like it, he's really intelligent and can come up with plans or strategies quickly.

he lived with his father during his first five years of life. they were extremely poor, and his father barely had the money to take care of himself. he had no choice but to put jay in foster care, where jay lived until he was adult, causing trouble all day - every day. when he turned 18, he had to leave and live by himself. he had no idea where his father lived, had no idea what to do or how life works in general. after many, many interviews - he still couldn't get a job. he started a band with some random kids he met, but it wasn't going very well - so he got into the drug trafficking industry. he sold drugs and actually made a living out of it. not too long ago, he had serious problems with one of his oldest customers. he owed jay money, jay got pissed off, one thing led to another, the customer turned him in, and jay got arrested.
