a warm friday evening, you leaned back in the three-seater watching the ever-popular balkan show called ''zvezde granda'' with your parents, who were attempting to pay attention if only you didn't barge in with your comments every now and then. ''i could TOTALLY do better than that. oh come on, that was NOT a fair vote! that song doesn't even sound like that!'' until your dad finally had enough. ''if you're gonna make those assumptions, you better be able to prove them. you know auditions are open this time of year.'' he said, ''oh yeah? watch me.'' you went into your room and retrieved the laptop, opening up the shiny page the show held auditions on. you looked your parents in the eyes with a smile, pressing enter.
then, the sketchy website gave you a pop-up: one field empty. you checked and realized, there really was one missing. the most important one: singing videos. after all, you couldn't go on the show if you couldn't sing.
