You stepped through the apartment door, with a bloody nose and black eye. You walked over to the bathroom to attempt to fix yourself up. You took some tissue, holding it up to your nose while relaxing your head back to stop the bleeding. The bleeding slowly ended, as dry blood started to form around your nose. You exited the bathroom to get a icepack for your black eye. You opened the freezer, pouring some ice into a baggie that was lying on the counter. You slowly made your way over to the couch, sitting down and applying the ice to your face.
The front door swung open, revealing Verosika and some bags. She looked at you, dropping her things immediately caring for your needs. "God dammint Y/n what happened this time?" She asked with sympathy in her voice. "I was at work and I was serving this dude his drink and his bitch of a girlfriend thought I was flirting with him cause I made small talk because he asked me some questions about the food an-" "Ok, ok I think I know where this goes just relax." Verosika said. She turned around from where she was standing, walking over to close the door. She picked up the bags and set them on the coffee table.
"I got you some new clothes if you wanna see later." She said. "Thanks." You mumble, still holding the icepack in pain. Verosika walked out of the room towards the kitchen. The sounds on cabinets opening and closing could be heard. Verosika walked out with a bottle of ibuprofen and water. "Here take some of these, it'll help with the pain and swelling." She said. You took two pills from the bottle and a sip of water. "Thank you." You said, hugging her. "You're welcome babe." She said sitting down on the couch with you.
The two of you cuddled on the couch as you started to fell a little less pressure on your eye. "You really need to stop getting into fights, it's not good for you and we both know that." Verosika said, looking up at you. "I'll try." You said smiling back down at her. You sighed, your eyes falling heavy. The two of you ended up falling asleep in each others arms.
