Before the Spring

Like snowflakes

We're falling slowly

On the same path

Aligning like crystals

In the perfect pattern.

But I'm so afraid

The wind will change

Or we will melt before we land

And I won't see you again.

If we can just make it for now

I think we could make it forever

My feelings won't change

But my mind might

Even if it hurts

I'll do what's best for us.

Do you believe in spring?

When flowers bloom, and everything changes,

Will you change too?

I'd hope it'll be for the better.

I hope you'll always believe in me

Like I believe in you.

It's not forever

But for now

I'd like to think

It'll be this way for a while.
