Chapter 6: Chase and Skylar are getting married!?

Shortly after Chase left the Lounge there was a little gathering where very one talked and shortly some people left, Alexa invited them to stay for dinner but most people had other plans. Mum and Dad decided to stay behind for dinner.

Ethan and Cole are sitting on either side of me. There table can fit about 10-12 people so my parents are on my left side beside Cole.

A tall guy probably in his early 40's walks in with a women. She has familiar green eyes and I'm guessing the guy is her husband. He has a light brown mixed with a bit of green. They take a seat opposite us but not directly opposite me. Shortly after their entrance, two familiar faces walk in with Lucy hanging onto on of their sides.

Lucy takes the seat opposite mine while her brothers take the ones to her sides almost making them look like her bodyguards. A small smile makes its way to my lips.

My focus turns to the table. Its a dark rich burgundy colour. The small like chandelier hanging from the ceiling falls mid air and the light illuminates the whole room, including the table making bits of the burgundy table this is a few shades darker or lighter in some places highlight.

My hands run over a bit of the table on my side and i can feel how smooth the varnish made it. Ive always loved the feel of varnished items. I took hard tech for a year or two and applying varnish to the items we made was amazing.

Soon the whole table is full. And people around the table are just making small talk. My parents were talking to Chase's parents while i just focused on my food.

"You attend Lakewood high school?" I hear my Dad ask. I set the silver fork down and look over to who my Dad's talking to.

Chase.

"Yes, I'm year 12" He answers.

"Really? You must know my daughter. Skylar, Cole and Ethan also go to Lakewood high school"

"As a matter of fact i do know Skylar" Chase says and leans back in his chair. When i hear my name being said in their conversation i become more interested.

"Uh-yeah we have a few classes together" I tell my Dad.

"Well isnt that wonde-" My Mum chips in but Alexa interrupts.

"Omg Aunty they can be partners" Alexa joins hands with my Mum and a huge grin takes over her lips.

"Oh its fin-"

"Yes thats perfect!" My Mum interrupts me.

"I don't mind" I mumble.

"We'll see to it. I had some other guys in mind but you and Chase would make a wonderful coup-i mean partners" Alexa excitedly squeals.

"You took the words out of my mouth Alexa" The whole table stop and stare at my Cousin and Mothers little fangirl session.

Ethan's elbow nudges my side and i glare at him while he makes flirty faces.

"Mummy why are they all happy?" I hear Lucy ask her Mum, which was the lady that walked in earlier with the familiar green eyes.

"You're brother and Skylar are going to be a couple for the wedding" Her Mother tells her.

"Michael?" She asks.

"No Chase" A smile makes its way to her face when her Mother finished her sentence.
