Chapter 3

Aurora Pov

Today is definitely going to be very busy then yesterday but I seriously don't feel good at all after everything that happened last night.

My body ache and my head is killing me I feel like my body is a lil bit too hot and I don't want to go out from my bed today I don't have the energy.

Closing my eyes 5 more minute not gonna hurt right?

"Aurora !!" I heard a loud bang on my door . Now since when people start coming here?

Open my eyes I see that its already 7.30 pm shit! I'm late for work.

Standing up from my bed I felt a lil bit dizzy going straight to the door.

"I'm coming" I don't know if the people from the other side can hear me.

"Ma'am Maria?"

"Gosh what happened to you? Why you looked so pale?" She said sound worried.

"I don't feel really good today ma'am"

"Today is a big day Aurora did you know that? Luna ceremony is tonight and again we have to make sure everything is perfect, another Alpha and Luna from another pack is also coming"

"I'm going to get ready now ma'am. I'm sorry this not gonna happened again"

"It's ok you can come at 12 as you are not feeling well. But don't be late I need you at dessert section cause no one is going to make better dessert then you is that ok?"

"Yes ma'am thank you so much" I let out a sigh.

Ahh why is this happening to me. I hope everything going to be ok tonight.

I just grab anything from my closet that I think will look the most decent for tonight event, it not like I'm going to impress anyone.

Proceed to the kitchen I start preparing the ingredients for the dish today. I feel so drained and my headache keep coming and going.

Everybody is very busy today doing their work to make tonight perfect. How am I going to survive tonight? I have to see my mate no! My ex mate with his soon to be Luna tonight.

That sucks

In the evening everything is ready and guest from other pack start coming all of them coming's with their soulmate oh I wish I have one.

I just can't stand anymore.

"I'm going to take a break" I said to one of them so they know where to find me if anything happens " I'll be back before the ceremony starts''

And they just nod their heads.

I need to eat something but I just want to lay down "come on Aurora you can do this just couple more hours and then you can snuggle up in your bed"

I drink some water and lay down. I need this for tonight.

Vefa Pov

"Mark at what time we have to be at the Moonlight Pack?" I asked my beta there's gonna be a Luna ceremony and also the coronation of the future Alpha tonight.

I don't really want to go to any of these events actually because every time it will remind me of how mateless I am. I don't even know if she is out there .

We are one of the strongest pack yet I still don't have my Luna by my side to rule with me. I'm fucking 34 years old this year and still no sight of her.

" We will go in 2 hours alpha" Mark answer me

"Do we really have to go? Don't we have meetings or something?"

"Unfortunately nope. All of the leader from another pack is going to the ceremony this evening. Plus moonlight pack is the most respectful one amongst all known for their kindness and I believe you want to keep the allies between us and them Alpha"

With heavy sigh " we go back right after the ceremony finish got it?"

With a quick nod Mark leave my office he already know the drill and he know how I feel about mate so he never question anything.

He found his mate when he's 20 and they already have 2 pups. Sometimes I feel jealous but I'm also happy for them. I wish I could have family of mine one day.

Aurora Pov

" go go move right now ! The alpha king already arrived and he doesn't like waiting go serve the food faster. AND NO MISTAKE! The ceremony will start any minute" I heard Maria shouting .

After everything was done we all gathered in the hall. All Leaders from the other pack is here why I feel odd and I think I smell something really good.

Maybe I'm just imagining things. I'm going crazy.

I don't even want to look at them as the events start. It just so painful and I have to hold back my tears.

Suddenly I hear all of the guests gasp loudly and they murmur among themselves so I look up to see what is happening.

No way!

There is another guy next to future Luna Marissa and that guy hold her close to him saying she is his mate.

I think he is one of the warrior in our pack I've seen him before around here.

"Ohh my god" I whisper to myself "karma is a biscuit!!"

Marissa is smitten by his mate. Not all of us can deny the mate bond because its so strong.

And she follow him like a loss puppy leaving Bryson alone on the stage.

"Marissa !!" Bryson call her so called mate.

"What is this Bryson?! You said she is your mate!!" His mother and father question him looking angry.

He just look down "I'm sorry mom and dad but I love her and she love me so I jus- "

"Just a waste of my time and you should be ashamed to do things like this young man!" I heard someone say this to Bryson he have this powerful aura around him. He must be an Alpha.

Then he turn around to leave and our eyes meet.

And my world stop! There's no way but Bryson is my mate right? Sorry WAS! But how?

I saw him walking towards me and I feel all eyes on me and why I feel like my legs glued to the ground and I can't move? What am I supposed to do? Is he also going to reject me?

He is so beautiful even more then Bryson.

"Mate" and our face inches from each other.

"What is your name?" He asked the same question as Bryson the first time we meet. He's going to reject me also right?

"Why ? Are you going to reject me?" I asked in a low tone and I keep my head down suddenly feeling sad.

" WHAT? What are you talking about baby? Why am I going to do that?" I blush at the name he calls me.

"My name is Vefa and you are coming with me baby" he say taking my hand.

I don't know why but I cannot stop smiling. I'm so over the moon is he my second chance mate? I've heard about it but it's a rare case.

As I was walking with him holding me close.

" STOP! Let go of my mate!" Suddenly I heard Bryson voice .
