It had been about a month since Gabriella woke up, and she was ready to get out back into the world, she waited anxiously by the door for John to return. After what seemed like an eternity he finally showed up. He told her to sit and listen to what he had to say. "Gabriella, you've made excellent progress and I think you are able to handle your thirst very well. The humans are very excepting of us, as long as you don't act any different. We are moving to England and starting a new life there, people will know you as my daughter and we will work on a backstory on the way over. Come on let's go." Gabriella was excited to get back out into the world and England wow she couldn't wait.
They finally landed, Gabriella and John walked off the plane, she smelt the cold fresh air "this is it, my new life, a new start, full of possibilities" she thought to herself.
After getting home and settling in John called Gabriella to the kitchen, he explained to her that she would be home schooled at first just to be cautious. Gabriella was no more than 17, and she would look that was for years and years to come. They sat down for dinner and drank deers blood from cups, they talked about Gabriellas life before the change, and how vampires work. He explained his life story and how he ended up where he was now. Gabriella went to bed after dinner, she wasn't tired because vampires don't sleep, but she just wanted some time alone, she was exited to go out into the town the next day, she was also nervous, she didn't want to mess anything up, she was still a newborn so she had to be extra careful and really cautious of controlling her thirst, but little did she know that the next day her life would change forever.
