Gabriella woke up the next morning, she looked around her new room. White and green striped floral walls, dark wood vanity, pink covers on her bed. She was exited to finally start her new life. She walked down the hall to go see John in the kitchen, she sat down at the table and John handed her a cup. "How was your sleep?" He asked, she mumbled excitedly as she downed the blood. "Wohhhhh there, Gabbie, you have to be careful today. This will be your first time in public since the change and you might have uncontrollable thirsts, if that happens lock yourself in the bathroom and don't leave until you are sure you won't give in." She nodded in agreeance. Gabriella ran to her room to get dressed before she went out. She opened her closet and it was full of new clothes, she but on a white knitted sweater and leggings and ran for the door. She was so exited she could hardly contain herself. Gabriella walked down the streets into town, she was looking in a flower shop when someone bumped into her, she could smell their scent of sweet fresh ripe blood. She wanted some so badly. She was gonna loose control. She raced to find the nearest bathroom bumping into a ton of people on the way until she ran straight into a boy, she fell into the pavement and was in panic until she noticed something, this boy smelt different, he didn't smell like blood, he didn't make her crave blood. He made her feel warm and fuzzy. He made her feel alright, he made her feel ok. "Hey you ok?" The boy asked. "Uhh yeah, sorry about that".
"No worries, it's all good." He helped her up and Gabbie brushed herself off. "What's your name?" "Gabriella" she replied. "That's a beautiful name" said the boy. "What's yours?". "Shylo" he replied. Gabbie smiled at him, "that's nice" she said. They looked at each other with their hands just slightly still in grasp, smiling. "We'll I'll see you around" said Shylo, and he walked away. He turned around once and smiled at her. And then continued on walking. Gabriella felt happy, she turned around and started walking smiling uncontrollably.
