I got this idea from watching the movie Puss in Boots : The Last Wish, because my brain started listing what magical items appeared on the screen, with what story it was from.
Anyways, you're a cousin of the Sister's Grimm. You were in college during the events of the book series so you weren't able to be in Ferryport when all fictional hell broke loose.
Since this story takes place four years after the events of the book series.
Sabrina is about 17. Daphne is about 13. And Henry is about 7. (I could have my math wrong. My mistake if I do.)
And you're in your 20s because of going for your Masters in Folklore.
Eventhough you're not originally from Ferryport, you still know all about the original stories, and even have some skills/magical items of your own.
