"Mama when are we going back home?" 15 years old Haruhi asked sitting on dining table. "Huh? You mean Evren?" She turned with the cooking pan on her one hand, placing pancakes on plate. "Haru.. Now this is your home. you know there's no reason for us to go back there. What you should be concentrating now on is your education, so we won't ends up in that village again. Understood? now hurry up before you get late for school" She turned back to cook. Haru's hazel eyes turned to the open window. Cypress leaves dancing.
After 6 years
The sky was a pocket of blue laughter greeting the rolling green.
"Who's this time?"
Orange sunrays tinted hazel eyes taken away its attention from blue sky and stopped on Valda's ocean blue eyes.
"A nymph" Haru pointed to a cloud in eastern sky."Too much observations. hm... I think its hydra or something. Maybe... a dragon" Val decided.
"Too much violence" Haru pinched her making Val laugh loudly.
"I know it's the end of summer, but still don't stay out too long, you will get sick.." Val said in worried tone sitting next to Haru."im okay babe" Haru kissed her smoothly.
"that's not very convincing you know" Val pouted pushing herself to back relaxing to the bench. She sighed. "what's there so much to see in sky, that you see but not anyone else"
Haru smiled. "I was saying about you to the wind" "oh yeah? You tell about me every day for 3 years now?"
"why not," Haru push closer to Val, smirking. "you are a whole universe of new things" making Val curl in her seat.
"oh stop it" she turned away to hide the blush in her face. Haru giggled smoothly.
Her facial expressions became calm, "I'm going home"
"Oh?" Val straighten up."Evren? The village where you were born?"
"mhm.. yeah. It's been six years and there was never a day I didn't miss that place"
"Well you came here and became a doctor, that's not bad too" Val couldn't hide her pout.
Haru laughed. "my little clinic isn't doing much a thing. But you are right, I don't hate being here too... it's just... a feeling.." she murmured. Her eyes focused on far away. Val stared in to that hazel mysterious eyes. 'That feeling calls you.' she thought to herself.
"Okay..." Val broke the silence jumping out of the bench."when are we leaving?"
"Oh Val.. you don't have to come... it will probably only be less than one week"
"I said I'm coming, princess. I want to go there with you. Who else gonna be there to protect you if not me"?
Haru laughed. "in a week, there gonna be the summer festival and I had enough missing it for last years"
"alright then. Now... shall we go inside, damn these bugs" Val growled at evening breeze.
"then you gonna love Evren!"
"what? There's bugs?""it's a forest village, idiot"
"...ah..."
"why, you can stay here till I come back"
"... argh. I said I'm coming!!"
Haru laughed as Val dragged her in to the house.
