My eyes flickered open, to find Mira and I sprawled on the bed side by side with three people staring down at us with their hazy blue eyes with a white swirl in the middle for a pupil.  Oh wait- not people, not humans but three calm, magical, Sacred Angels!!! the weirdest part yet is that they are staring at us!

I frown, angels are only seen during the thirteenth year of a person in this particular family. My sister and I just had ours a day ago, so what are these angels even here for. I shook Mira, hoping she would wake up and pinch me so that I know I am actually hallucinating. Except she just continues to soundlessly sleep on.

I sigh, proceeding to shake her again when one of the angels stopped me, "halt, thou sister is under a sleeping enchantment for ten minutes. In the meantime, thou wilt tell us where thou have stored the feather and crystal."

I scrunch up my nose with confusion, "Why do you need those items- it's not like they are worth anything, I mean they are pretty to look at."

I glare at them with my beautiful, hazel eyes, my lips etched into a firm thin line. Their angelic neutral faces turn into one of disappointment and disbelief at my complete stubbornness. It is very rare for a human to ignore an angel's request, due to their hypnotising gaze and musical voice- but I just did. Probably because my family gets involved with angels every year.

...Or is it because of that? I am not really sure.

"These items, or angel parts, contain a small part of the Heavenly Realm in the sky, with it missing, our realm will become drained of power, and may collapse over time", one of the angel's replied as a matter of fact.

"Watch your tone Syrra. We angels do not speak with an aggravating tongue. Or we may be thrown into the abyss", the other angel warns- calmly.

Syrra responds quietly, " Oh right, apologies for my behaviour. I will work on becoming a better-behaved angel. Thank you, Ryle, for your advice."

Ryle smiles, " Angels are already properly behaved, it's just an accident. And the advice you were talking about, "you already heard it before 3 weeks ago."

Syrra dips her head politely.

I stare at them with confusion, how are angels so good at handling the way they speak? It is too formal! And were they not supposed to find the crystal and the feather, instead of deliberating over the rights and wrongs of angel laws? I shake my head with disbelief at their behaviour towards this uncalled-for situation.

Suddenly I felt a sharp prick of pain in my head like a needle had been stabbed into my skull...and fainted on the spot....
