You were sitting on the couch when you heard a door open you quickly stood up and made your way to the entrance of the castle.
You saw Lady Dimitrescu and another woman, she was surrounded in bird feathers and had a gold mask forming a birds beak.
It was Mother Miranda, why was she here?
"My Lady" you greeted the countess by bowing.
"Did you get what I asked for?" The woman asked
"Yes I did, I put it on your vanity" you responded
"Perfect, me and Mother Miranda will be talking in the main hall please do not disturb us" the countess said and the two woman walked away.
You wanted to know what they were talking about, of course you did. But that would be being disobedient.
Not only that, but Mother Miranda would also probably kill you.
So, you made your way to the library and looked through all of the books trying to find something interesting to read.
Then you sat down and read for a bit.
An hour later the countess walked into the library.
"Y/n"
You looked up at the woman and then stood up.
"Yes, My lady?" You responded.
The woman held a small bottle in her hand only enough for at least three of four drops of liquid.
"Would you be a dear and let me bottle some of your blood?" She asked.
You were quite puzzled by the request, but you didn't hesitate with your response.
"Of course." you gladly agreed.
You took a step closer to the countess and offered her your arm.
The countess pulled off her glove and made a small cut on your wrist with her nail.
Blood dripped from your wrist into the bottle until it was full.
The countess put a small cap over the bottle so that the blood could not escape, then she bent down to your wrist and licked the rest of the blood up.
This surprised you making you flustered.
Alcina stood back up.
"Sweet as always" she said appeased by the taste of your blood
Then Mother Miranda appeared out of a flock of birds.
"Do you have what I need." The goddess spoke.
"Yes, Mother Miranda, it's right here." The lady said motioning to the bottle.
"Good" the bird woman took the bottle then looked at you for a second before disappearing in a flock of birds.
"Why did she need my blood?" You asked the countess.
"It might bring back my daughters" she responded then walked away.
A few hours later you got bored and decided to go to the ruined village, maybe the Duke had some cool items.
You were walking around when you heard low growls, they came from multiple directions.
You slowly backed up from the noises until you heard one behind you. You quickly turned around and a Lycan appeared out of a bush.
You turned to run only to find you were surrounded by three more of them.
'Shit' you thought to yourself.
You tried to keep your eyes on them all, but it was quite difficult.
Suddenly one pounced on you, you quickly blocked your face with your arms and the Lycan bit into your arm.
you screamed in pain, and tried to kick the Lycan off you but it just was not working.
The other three Lycans started approaching you.
You were dead, there was no way you would survive this.
Shing
The Lycans turn around to see what made the noise and the one on top of you looked up.
You couldn't see from what position you were in.
You heard one of the monsters hiss in pain.
Then the Lycan on top of you refocused his attention back onto you, but before it was able to bite you its head was cut off.
The cut was clean and fast the Lycan wasn't even able to react.
You sat there as the body of the Lycan fell onto the snowy ground.
Then a large shadow engulfed you.
You stood up slowly and turned around then you relaxed at the sight before you.
It was Lady Dimitrescu.
The woman bent down quickly and grabbed your chin firmly.
"What do you think you're doing going out here with no protection!?" The countess was mad.
"I-" you were cut off.
"No, we will talk about this at the castle." The woman said.
She stood up quickly and grabbed your hand, she was squeezing it pretty hard.
While you both walked you kept stumbling from not being able to keep up with the woman.
Finally, you made it back to the castle. The countess brought you to her bed chambers.
"Sit on the bed. Don't. Move." She demanded.
You sat down and looked at your arm, there was a a bit mark on it and blood was everywhere.
You sat and waited for Alcina to come back.
When she returned, she had bandages and wipes.
The countess keeled beside you and started to wipe the blood off your arm, after she was done, she wrapped it up with bandages.
Then she made her way to her vanity and sat down, now applying her makeup.
You both sat in silence for a while.
The countess put her lipstick down which grabbed your attention.
"What were you thinking going out there alone." Alcina said with a coldness in her tone.
"I wanted to see the duke" you said avoiding eye contact.
The woman stood and sat next to you, she then picked you up and sat you on her leg.
Now you were looking at her.
"You would've died if I didn't find you..." she said.
"Were you... worried about me?" You asked.
The woman looked away and didn't respond.
You just smiled and leaned onto the countess.
You both sat there in a comfortable silence until you both laid down and fell asleep.
