I'm finally driving home from a long day of work, and as I drive by I can't help but be excited to see Lilith again!
Later today we were going to go out to eat, she doesn't know yet but I had recently got a promotion at my office job.
So, in order to celebrate I'm gonna take us out to eat.

I stop at a red light and look at my side view mirror, making sure my lipstick isn't smeared.
Most people say I'm hard to please, and that I'm strict in the work place, and instead of being offended I take it with pride!
Besides, I treat my dear Lilith with all love that I can give.
Suddenly the light goes green and i'm back to driving home as the sun sets into the sky.
                   **Time Skip**

I put ny car into park as I step out and onto the rocky gravel of the driveway.
"What a long day, it's good to be home."
I groan as I put my hand to ny forehead and start to step up the porches stairs.

"Lilith! I'm finally home.."
I begin to say as I put my bag down
"I'm sorry that I had taken so long to get home.."
But I drift off as I notice that the house is completely empty and dark, the lights are all off. This is not like the usual where Lilith is watching tv in the living room...
"Lilith?..Maybe shes just upstairs."
I was trying to distract myself from any sort of bad though! Obviously as a mother I can't just freak out, I have to learn to stay...calm-

"Lilith! I'm home!"
I begin to yell a little as I walk up the dark stairs, with every heavy step I take comes a loud
*Creaaak*
I look over to the side of the hallway, where liliths room currently sits and I creak open the door.
I know I should have knocked but my worry was growing increasingly for my girl.
"Lilith..?"
But nobody was there.
Just darkness in her empty room.

I kept rummaging around her room, looking in her bathroom and closet.
"Maybe shes just hiding!! Yeah, hiding..."

And then an idea hit me!

*ringg...*
          *rinngg...*
                  *rinnggg..*

"Hello? Lilith?? Where in the world were you today! I was wai-" She began in a worried and almost stressed out tone
"It's  not Lilith. I'm her mother, Amelia."

Amelia had gotten the idea to use the house phone to call Liliths closest and ...only friend Athena.

"Athena dear, is Lilith home with you right now?"
Amelia asks in a worried town as she tiwrls the phone wire nervously with her finger..

"Oh! I'm sorry ma'am..
But I haven't seen Lily all day! I thought she was sick but she wasn't answering her phone all day!"
Athena said, obviously nervous.

"She isn't with you?! And she didn't go to school?!.."
Dread washed over Amelia like a tidal wave..

"What are you saying? Is she not with you right now?"

"No dear I'm afraid not.. she hasn't been home at all it seems.."
Amelia looks over into the still dark hallway. She had not had the energy or time really to turn the lights back on around the house yet.
This and the whole missing thing with her daughter gave an incredibly creepy atmosphere.

"I'll be right over ma'am!"
And then the line hung up
*beeeeeeeeeep.*
"Be right over?.. Whats that supposed to mean?"
And then Amelia remembered that Athena had a drivers license .

"No way shes really going to drive all the way over here.. it's almost night out!"
She had pondered the statement a little more before deciding to finally turn the lights on around the house.
So, still worried over her missing daughter, she stepped downstairs.

*Time Skip.*

I reached over to my the second house phone to dial 911, I had gotten changed out of my work clothes and I have decided to take this more seriously than before.
I really did not want to call the police as this whole situation could have been nothing but Lilith being with someone else.. but after all the strange occurrences today I had enough proof to call them.

But as soon as she was about to place the last digit into the phone, a car had gone up the driveway.
"Oh! Athena is here, but it's a little weird sense she isn't here for Lilith.."
I muttered to myself a bit as I go to open the door for Athena.
Athena was a long lengthy girl, with wavy brown hair and green eyes that shimmered with the sunlight.
You could tell she gets alot of attention from school, unwanted or not.
She stood at my doorway, cleaning her shoes on my doormat, but I coudnt help but notice pink slips of paper in her hands.
"I came as fast as I could! My parents are out of town so I left as soon as I hung up.."
I thanked her for coming on such short notice and bring her inside.

I talked with Athena about Lilith  and where we think she is.
We decided to hold off the police call till we know for sure she is missing.
But for now, Athena brought flyers to put around town to find Athena.

We make our way outside and yell out for Lilith to come home, yelling around the dense forest for her.
However it was getting dark fast, and it's not recommended to be in the woods late at night.
"Lilith! Please come home"
Athena shouts into the trees.
I'm really starting to panic now, however I try my best to keep it in in front of Athena.
"Oh my god.. this cant be happening.."
I mutter to myself.
"Lilith please! "
I yell out desperately, but to no avail.
