I remember when I saw her
I stood behind her in the popcorn line
She was so clumsy and dropped her dollars
We went to grab them and her hand met mineShe smiled at me, and noticed I was alone
She asked me to sit with her, during the show
We had a great time, and hugged at the end
She said she had fun, and let's do it againAnd we did, many times after
So many dates filled with laughter
I made her happy and she made me
When at times I never thought I could beWhen she cried I was there
When I was sad she cared
I loved her, even when love was scary
I decided she was the one I would marryOur lives weren't perfect by any means
But she and I were following our dreams
She wanted kids and so we had two
I wanted a boat, and I got that tooAs we got old, and our kids moved out
Our love was still there without a doubt...The money hit the floor softly
The girl in front of me is so clumsy
"Maybe I could help her out," I said
I'm too nervous to talk to her, I'll pretend to check my phone instead...
