It was 7:30 pm when Aditya reached Goenka house.
" Aditya what a pleasant surprise? I came back few hours ago only and was thinking to call you, come inside we have lot to discuss" Dev greeted him.
" Thanks sir and definitely we will talk. Whenever you are free, just tell me, I will manage my schedule accordingly" Aditya replied.
" Sure, but why you came here now, if not talk to us? anything important?" Dev enquired.
" Nothing, just Avantika wanted to meet me here and I don't have choice to come at some other time because I get free time only after working hours. I am actually late and I hope she doesn't get
angry because of it, where is she?" Aditya asked." Here" Avantika replied.
Aditya looked towards stairs.
" Sorry Avantika for being late, tell me why you wanted to meet me?" He asked her.
" Let's go to my room, we will talk there" After saying that she went away.
Aditya looked towards her parents awkwardly. He was feeling little weird to go to her room just like that in front of her parents.
" Sir, if you don't mind can I go?" He was feeling so embarrassed in even asking that.
Dev and Arundhati both looked at each other, they were impressed by him. Dev just nodded his head. Aditya immediately turned around and went upstairs.
"Oh god, how embarrassing it was? can't we go to the garden? why she is calling me in her room directly? what will her parents think about me? This girl is already crazy, and she will make me too"
He thought to himself while climbing up stairs. When he reached there, he was confused about her room then he saw her puppy as if he was waiting for him only then he followed that puppy. He entered in Avantika's room for the first time. She was standing beside her cupboard and was taking something out of it.
"Avantika, first of all I am extremely sorry for yesterday. I didn't mean to hurt you at all and if you don't mind can we please go in your garden and talk about whatever you wanted to talk. It’s little
weird to come to your room directly in front of your parents." Aditya said to her awkwardly.Avantika turned around but didn't say anything. She came to him and handed him a beautiful rectangle box and went to stand in front of her balcony silently. Aditya was too confused but after opening that box he was more confused because that box had so many jewellery pieces in it. He looked towards Avantika then at that box being completely puzzled.
" Avantika, what is this? why have you given me your jewellery box? What am I supposed to do with it?" He asked her but she didn't reply anything.
Now he was getting irritated because it was she, who had invited him to meet and now giving him silent treatment only. When he didn't get any response from her, he again looked at those jewellery pieces trying to understand what they were doing in his hands. He realised that they were artificial jewelleries but very unique and different designs then he noticed a small transparent box inside. He opened that box and there were beads, hooks, chains, stones ,threads and a big needle. Firstly, he became even more confused looking at those things but then something clicked in his mind, and he looked at Avantika with shocked expressions.
" Avantika, don't tell me you have made all of this by yourself?" He asked her.
" When I was studying, I used to get bored in my class. One day, I was just roaming around in campus to kill time then I saw some students were doing this in an open area. I went there just for
time pass but then I felt attracted
towards it as it was much better than my boring classes, so I took admission in that course but could not complete it because I had left that college midway. Now, this
is all I have; hobby, passion whatever name you want to give it, but I can't make it my career and I don't know anything else apart from this" Avantika shared with him still standing at the balcony.
