     Aditya reached at Avantika's home at sharp 8 pm and called her to come outside.She came outside within minutes

        He was dumbfounded by seeing her look. She was wearing black mini dress
and carrying an olive colour jacket in her hand. He had never seen her like that. She came and greeted him but still he didn't give any response. She tapped at his window, then only he came back
to reality and closed his eyes to get normal.

   " You came so fast. Come sit." He said to her in formal tone.

   She did same and sat beside him. After few moments Aditya decided to ask her about this sudden plan to go club.

    " Avantika, I am little surprised of this sudden club and all?" He told her.

   " Oh! This, actually, it's not my plan. There is one member in our team, Anand. Today is his birthday and everyone decided to celebrate it in the club and invited me also, but I didn't want to go alone or say no to them as he would have felt bad, so I called you to give me company. That’s it." Avantika
told him truth.

    He looked at Avantika with blank face. She was careful to not hurt feelings of her colleagues, but she never showed this much decency with him ever and she was just using him so that she don't feel alone in the party. His whole mood turned sore, and he was feeling so bad, but he didn't have a choice to backout now. So, he didn't say anything after that and put his air pods on to avoid any
conversation. Avantika felt little bad when he did as it was clear indication that he didn't want to talk to her. She also did the same.

     After few minutes they reached the venue. They both entered inside with gloomy face. Avantika went towards the group who was waiting for her. He too followed her as he didn't have a choice.

   " Aditya sir, it's so nice to see you too. Actually, I didn't invite you because I thought you must be busy but now I am very happy that you came. you too made my birthday extra special after Avantika" Anand told him.

   Aditya wished him but his last sentence caught his attention and he looked towards him with confusion.

   " What do you mean by that? What Avantika did?" He asked bluntly.

   " Oh! See, she made this bracelet today only for me. It was so sweet of her to do that. This is the most special gift I have received, and I will always keep it with me." He said after showing bracelet in
his hand and Avantika smiled at him.

    Aditya felt like he wanted to punch someone very badly. since day-1 he was only getting attitude and here some random person got her special gift, and he was wearing that. On top of that, she was smiling at him. She is that good with them but with him behaves as if he had committed some grave sin and she despise even seeing his face or standing by next to him. Why this double standards with him only?

   He was raging with jealousy and anger. He wanted to snatch that gift from that man but controlled himself and went away from there giving excuse of a call before he could create some scene.
Avantika felt disappointed by his actions.

    " Can't he stand here till cake cutting? Doesn't he have even basic manners to not go away like this? How Anand must be feeling?" She thought to herself and got angry.

" Anand, you know how busy he is right? So, please don't wait for him and cut your cake. We all are here" she said to him.

   Anand nodded and cut the cake. All of them cheered for him and then they got busy in having drinks and fun. Avantika went away from there to find him and saw him at far end corner of the pub
talking on phone. She went towards him. She stood in front of him and gestured him to put his phone down. He did that after few seconds.
