Once Pablo had found a spot to park the car, we stepped out and once I made my way around the car, he immediately grabbed my hand, which made me happy and eased some nerves that I didn't know were coming back, I took a deep quiet breath to myself as we started walking our way down to the fire lit place on the beach, the music getting louder as well as the chatter as we got closer.

Once we arrived closer, I noticed Pedri get closer to us as well, which is why I let go of Pablo's hand to be able to give Pedri a hug followed by some informal greetings as well, once I managed to get a proper look at this mans face I could tell he was excited that we came and it was more clear when he said: "You guys made it!"

I couldn't help but just chuckle in response, I continued my way down to the fire and greeted the boys, like I had said, I had met them before but of course, this was the first time I had seen them outside of a game or outside the training grounds, they all seemed really happy as well. Once I greeted them I noticed Lucia, who I assumed it was her since Pablo didn't mention any other girls coming to this gathering, however she seemed to be giving me quite the death stare, I just shrugged it off, by smiling at her before walking back to Pablo and grabbing his hand, I guess he could feel me being a little bit tense as he squeezed my hand and said to me "It's okay amor, I am here" That again made me relax and I couldn't help but smile

I felt Pablo pull me into a side hug, his hand now wrapped around my waist, and I did the same, but for some reason that didn't make Lucia's frown go away, but I decided to ignore it and just engage in conversation with Pablo's friends. "Cassie, would you like a drink?" Ansu asked holding up a cup of alcohol.

I chuckled nervously which caught his attention and responded "Sorry I don't fancy a drink tonight if that's okay" For some reason I thought he would be angry with my response but instead he smiled, placed the cup down, and responded back with a smile. "That's okay, we are not going to force you" I just couldn't help but smile, yes I know a lot of smiling but his friends are sweet and are making me feel more comfortable to be around them.

"Pablo that doesn't stop you from having one," I said while looking at him before looking at Pedri who just chuckled, I also seemed to catch a glimpse of Lucia rolling her eyes at that comment but again I just chose to ignore her. "I am okay, they know I am not one to drink these types of drinks anyway, plus I am driving you home anyway" I heard the boys go 'ooo' as if we were in middle school but I didn't care I just laid my head on Pablo's shoulder and wrapped my hands around his arm, my fingers intertwined with his as I felt his thumb brush against the knuckles of my fingers.

"See, I told you all they are soulmates, they have a lot in common" Ferran commented which erupted laughter among the group, it did for me as well and I felt like I could agree with it.

"Yea sure but they sure don't know how to party, who doesn't drink at a party" Lucia snickered, interrupting the laughter around and gaining everyone's attention, however, it looked like Ansu wanted to say something but I was quicker "Don't need alcohol to have fun, plus at least I am watching my health" I commented back watching her just scoff at me and roll her eyes, I also heard some laughter from around the group, now watching as she just made her way to grab a drink.

I turned to Pablo to see him with a straight face, now worried I had gone too far, I didn't mean to be rude, I was just speaking sense in my opinion "Sorry was that too much?" I asked, I watched as he just shrugged his shoulders, it seemed like he didn't like what I said, but nor did he care much, once again I took a deep quiet breath.
