Abha sat at her desk in the IT department of an insurance company in Delhi, her eyes glued to the computer screen as she analyzed lines of code. It was the first day of the lockdown for COVID-19, and the streets outside were eerily quiet. Only a handful of offices were open, and Abha's workplace was one of them.

She missed Vivan, her senior colleague and lover, who was working from home. They had been together for over a year now, and she had never been more grateful for his support and affection. The thought of being apart from him for an indefinite period made her heart sink.

As she worked, her phone buzzed. It was a message from Vivan.

"Hey, how are you doing? I miss you already."

Abha's heart skipped a beat at the sight of his name. She couldn't wait to see him, even if it was just for a little while.

"Hey, I miss you too. Can we meet for lunch today?"

Vivan replied almost instantly. "Yes, please! But where can we go? All the shops are closed."

Abha thought for a moment. "What about the office canteen? It's still open, right?"

"Sounds like a plan. See you there at 1 PM?"

Abha smiled, feeling a flutter of excitement. She packed up her things and made her way to the canteen, her mask securely in place.

As she entered the canteen, she saw Vivan sitting at a table in the corner, his laptop open in front of him. He looked up and their eyes met, and Abha felt a rush of warmth and affection.

"Hey," she said, sitting down opposite him.

"Hey," Vivan replied, smiling. "It's good to see you."

Abha felt a surge of happiness at his words. They sat and chatted as they ate, talking about the latest developments in their work and sharing their thoughts and fears about the pandemic. Abha was grateful for the opportunity to spend time with Vivan, even in the midst of all the chaos.

As they finished their meal, Vivan looked at her with a serious expression.

"Abha, there's something I've been thinking about."

Abha's heart skipped a beat. What could it be? She waited anxiously for him to continue.

"I want to move in with you," Vivan said, his voice low. "I want to be together with you all the time, not just on lunch breaks."

Abha was taken aback by the suggestion, but also intrigued. She had never considered living with someone before, but she trusted Vivan and was open to new experiences.

"I'm willing to give it a try," she said, feeling a sense of freedom and possibility.

Vivan smiled, relief evident on his face. "Thank you, Abha. You won't regret it."

As they left the canteen and headed back to their respective workstations, Abha's mind was buzzing with questions and possibilities. She didn't know where this would lead, but she was excited to find out.

As Abha returned to her desk, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement at the prospect of living with Vivan. It was a new adventure, a chance to create a life together. But at the same time, she felt a twinge of guilt about leaving her parents' house.

Her parents were well-off, and they had provided her with a luxurious home to live in. But it came at a cost. Abha's mother was constantly criticizing her for not being married yet, and her father had a drinking problem that often led to heated arguments. It was a toxic environment, and Abha had been looking for a way out for a long time.

As she worked, Abha mulled over the idea of moving out. She had always thought of it as a distant dream, something that was not possible until she got married. But with Vivan's offer, it suddenly felt within reach.

Later in the day, Abha messaged Vivan, "Hey, I've been thinking about what you said. I would love to move in with you. Also, I want to move out of my parent's house."

Vivan replied quickly, "I understand. Let's talk more about it tonight."

Abha felt a sense of relief that Vivan was so understanding. She had always been afraid of being judged for wanting to leave her parents' house.

As the day drew to a close, Abha packed up her things and headed home. As she walked, she felt a sense of freedom and possibility that she had never experienced before. With Vivan by her side, she could face anything.

As she reached her parents' house, she saw that the lights were on and her parents were already in the living room. She took a deep breath and prepared herself for another night of arguments and tension.

But as she entered the house, her phone buzzed. It was a message from Vivan.

"Hey, I can't wait to start this new chapter with you. You're my perfect lover."

Abha felt a warm feeling in her chest as she read the message. For the first time in a long time, she felt hopeful about the future.
