She dropped the plate and quickly took her headphones off then ran over to her father "Dad?" Alice asked when she got over to him "Alice" he said weakly as she grabbed his hand "No" she shook her head putting her free hand on his wound, no count 2, remember that, each time the word 'No' is mentioned it gets a count, 3 times now "Alice-" Bucky started "No" four times now

"This is all my fault, I wasn't paying attention, I should've-" as Alice was shaking her head while tearing up "Alice, none of this is your fault" he interrupted her "Well of course it's her fault James, your daughter, supposedly the best assassin in HYDRA and Red Room history, wasn't paying attention" June chuckled "No" 5 times "No!" 6 times, Alice stood up and ran to get the first aid kit

Once Alice got back June was chuckling and Bucky had his eyes closed while slowly breathing, Alice had also called Fury and Nat over using the bracelet she was given a few weeks back so they were putting June in cuffs, Alice ran over to Bucky and opened the kit "Alice...n-no" he said, 7 times "No" 8 times "The- I can help you dad, I can't lose you, not again" she started to cry lightly "Alice, it's too late, I'll be dead before you can even bandage the wound" he choked "No" 9 times

"I can help you, I can, dad jus-" he shushed her "Alice, you won't lose me, I'll be with you everywhere you go" he smiled softly and then all that was heard was stifled sobs throughout the room, and June's chuckling "Poor weak little girl, couldn't save her own father, how are you even my daughter" she scoffed "Shut up" Nat said as Fury walked over to Alice and pulled her into his chest "I know, it's ok, it's ok" he said as he pulled her into his chest

After a few minutes Alice sobbed herself to sleep so Fury just sat there, stroking her hair as Nat took June back to shield headquarters, as Alice slept, Peter and Steve walked in "What happened?" Peter asked as he ran over to Alice and Fury, Fury didn't say anything and just motioned over to Bucky "Buck" Steve said in shock

After a few hours of packing up all of Bucky's stuff they put in the back of a truck and took it to a storage facility near shield, then went to pack up Alice's stuff "Don't put that in any boxes" Alice said to Peter grabbing the pocket watch and putting it in her jacket pocket "Alice" Peter locked at her "No" 10 times "I'm not putting this in a box to go to in some storage facility halfway across the state" she had started to tear up again but turned around to hide it then went back to packing "ok" he sighed then took some boxes downstairs

"No Fury, she's not staying at the compound!" Steve yelled, 'No' mentioned 12 times now "I've made that pretty clear" he added "Steve she's staying! It's the only safe place for her now!" Fury yelled "I don't care! She's not staying" he yelled back "I'm sorry but who's the one who put you on this team, the one who formed it?!" Fury yelled "You did but I'm not letting her stay! Not after what she did" he answered

"You're not the one in charge now are you" Fury raised eyebrow "No bu-" 13 times "She's staying, that's the end of it" he said as Alice walked in, "Hey" Fury looked at her "Hey" she smiled softly then took a box outside and walked back in "That's everything from my room" she looked at them both "Alice, you're going to be staying at the compound ok?" Fury said as Steve mumbled some "I probably shouldn't" Alice started "Alice, you'll be safe there" Fury said "Yea but-" she started again "Alice, please" he answered

Alice had gotten everything unpacked into her room when Wanda walked in "Hey" she said "How are you?" Alice asked "I'm good" Wanda smiled back at her "That's good" she smiled then sat down and grabbed a book "Is that the one I gave you?" Wanda looked at her "Yea" Alice nodded "Cool"

Alice was in her room sleeping when Steve walked in and looked at her, he had tears in eyes and he walked over to the bed and crouched down a bit "I'm so sorry Alice, I'm sorry I made you and your dad leave, I should've let you explain, this is all my fault that your father is dead" he whispered as some tears left his eyes

The next morning as Alice woke up Steve was still there "Hey" he said gently and Alice looked at him "Hi" she was weary about talking to him, she had a bit of fear in her eyes "I'm not going to hurt you, I just....want to apologize" he smiled softly "Why?" she raised an eyebrow "It's my fault he died, I never should've made you guys leave" he looked down "It's not your fault, it's no ones fault but hers" she looked at him, she was planning to let her mother be and not get in the middle of it unless need be, 'No' count 15 times
