Deception

Yifan and Tao went on a quest for a new house. They found a traditional house. Yifan decide to make some tea for both of them. Tea, for long, has been known to bring peace and a feeling of well-being and it all made sense in that meditative atmosphere. There was peaceful silence. They felt a strong connection between themselves. Yifan looked right into Tao's eyes. Tao hesitated and tried to ignore Yifan's gaze. They next second, Yifan's lips were on his.

The next morning, they woke up in each other's embrace.They decided to move to a new place.

They walked to an apartment building. Yifan took the excuse of passing out fliers. Well, he wasn't really "passing them out" but throwing them on the floor. A frustrated man picked up a flyer in front of his apartment door, "What the hell? What's this flyer doin' over here?" Yifan and Tao ignored him. They found a deserted apartment. They opened the door and enetered. There seemed to be a message on the answering machine, "Hi! This is the Xi couple! We are on a vacation to Changsha. If there is any problem, please call on this number. Thank you!"

Yifan checked all the rooms of the small apartment. As he opened the kitchen, he turned away his face in disgust. Yifan's repulsive expression made Tao curious. He checked the kitchen and was shocked to find the dead body of an old man. "Tao, get a bowl of water, please." Tao obeyed and Yifan got some bandage and cloth. Tao cleaned up the body. Meanwhile, Yifan tried to call up the Xi couple. They did not pick up. He tried again. Mr. Xi answered, "Hi, dad! What happened? Are you okay?" Yifan did not say anything. "Dad? Dad? Dad! I'm coming! We're on our way!"

Tao and Yifan gave the man a quick funeral ritual. Then, they relaxed and had a quick meal.

Suddenly, the Xi couple barged through the door. "Dad! Where are you?", Mrs. Xi said. Mr. and Mrs. Xi saw the two anonymous boys, "Who are you? What did you do to our dad?" Yifan was shocked and speechless.

Mr. Xi called up the police and in the next hour, the two boys found themselves in an interrogation room.

Detective Sergeant Tse browsed through some papers, "So, you're Wu Yifan....Why would a college graduate like you break into people's houses and murder someone?"

Yifan smirked, "How well do you know about my life?"

Tse got infuriated, "Don't you dare smirk at me like that!"

Detective Li entered the scene, "Sergeant Tse, I found a missing report of Huang Zitao."

"Call Huang Xian Hua, right now."

Huang Xian Hua was taking out all his fury on the golf ball in his garden, when he got phone call, "Mr. Huang, your son has been found. Please come to the police station immediately." The twisted man smirked, "Sure thing. I'm coming."

Xian Hua grabbed his son's bruised arm, "Come on, young man! Let's go home!" Tao winced in pain. Xian Hua glared at Yifan, "What kind of spell did you cast on my son, you son of a bitch?!" He started throwing golf balls at Yifan. Li tried to control Xian Hua, "Woahh, calm down, Mr. Huang!"

A few minutes later, Detective Li came up with some more reports, "The old man in the apartment died of lung cancer. Apparently, Yifan and Tao did a funeral ritual better than any other son could do. I think he isn't a bad person, after all."

Tse looked at Yifan, "Seems like you're going home."

Yifan smirked again.

"Don't you dare smirk!"

Tao sat in his room quietly. He refused to even look at his father. His father patted his shoulder. "I would appreciate it, if you stay away from me." Xian Hua was shocked at how rebellious his son had become. He called up Detective Sergeant Tse for help. Tse said, "Hello....Are you sure?....It's up to you....fine, then."

Tse took Yifan in a car. He took him to an unknown place. It was an unfamiliar dark alley. He kicked the handcuffed boy out of the car. Xian Hua came out of his car. He took his golf clubs and golf balls out. He aimed Yifan and played his first shot. He kept on hitting the balls at Yifan as he winced helplessly on the floor. Xian Hua bribed Tse in order to get Yifan back to jail.

Four months later, Yifan was still imprisoned for a crime he did not commit.
