Withered Away

chapter 4- he's awake

Lloyd pov:

I opened my eyes to the darkness of a room it looked like the medical room of the monastery.

I started to sit up when a sharp pain crawled up my forearm. I closed my eyes in pain.

I opened my eyes putting aside the pain to look around. I heard people talking outside of the room. I felt tired and sore, 'what happened?' I thought.

Then all my memory hit me in a split second 'Oh yeah' i thought.

I looked at my arm it had new, clean bandages all over my left forearm.

I flopped back down on the medical bed only to be left with pain in my whole left arm. I groaned in pain, bringing my right arm to hold my left trying to ease the pain. I here footsteps running down the hall.

Jay pov:

Zane, nya, and I were going over machine plans that we either scrap or restore and try again, in the monastery base, we called it scrap or score.

Kai was on shift watching Lloyd, we started a shift system to watch him in case he woke up or something was happening. My shift was next in about seven minutes, dang time flies fast when your scraping or scoring.

"Guys it'll be my shift soon Im gonna start heading up to the main floor" I say.

"It is that time, isn't it." Zane said.

"Already!? Time sure flies by don't it." Nya said.

"Yup it does" I said "you guys staying down here?"

"Well, we wouldn't want you to miss out on the scrap or score fun! And we've been down here pretty much all day so we might as well take a break." Nya said.

And with that we all headed to the elevator.

Kai pov:

I woke up to jay gently shaking my shoulder.

"What?! What happened!" I woke up in a panic.

"Hey! It's okay!" He said " Its my shift now, and you fell asleep in the chair again."

"Oh" I say.

I glance over at Lloyd. It hurts to see him like this he hasn't woken up since the bite which was a week ago!

I got up from the chair.

"What time is it?" I ask

"It's 3:21" jay answers

"Doesn't that mean someone needs to change Lloyd's bandages?" I say

"Oh, yeah! I'll go get Zane to do it, he does it best out of all of us."

And then he ran off to go find Zane.

°•'time skip after Zane re bandages Lloyd arm'•°

Me and jay waited outside to door to the med-bay room while Zane bandaged Lloyd's arm again, for two reasons one it was better for Zane to work with more space which meant  the least amount of people in the room as needed. and second jay didnt want to relives seeing the blood and big holes in Lloyd's forearm, i didnt  want to see lloyd like this it hurt my heart every time i saw him.

Zane walked out after what seemed like an hour but was only about twenty minutes.

"hes all bandaged up again." he said closing the door.

"when do you think he'll wake up?" i asked, asking the question that everyone obviously wanted to know but was to afraid to ask.

"well i can not be for certain but most likely within the next three days." zane said.

That gave me a small smile.

"also i was talking to sensei before jay called me over here to re-bandage, he was about to leave to borg tower with misako  to see what borg and P.i.x.a.l. have uncovered over in ninjago city. so that would mean two people will need  to take an extra shift." zane said.

"ill do both." i said 

"kai! you cant you need proper sleep you've hardly slept all week!" jay said

"you have been, as jay would say, over doing it kai." zane said

"i know i just-" i was cut off by a small thud and a groan in the med-bay room.

we rushed in there. to find lloyd laying there clearly awake, his left arm holding his right, and his eyes squeezed shut. 

hes awake!

hope yall liked this chapter its kinda been due but yeah, i think im out of my major procrastinaion state but who knows.
