She
Is
A terror, hated
Isn't
A beauty.
Is cruel.
She
Thinks
No one
Is good enough.
And she
Is unwanted.
No one around her
Liked her
People
Wish that
She
Would
Disappear.
She used to.
~
So, this was probably a pretty confusing poem, and I could totally understand why it would be, but what I'm going to ask you to do now is (and this is more of the experiment part), read it from the bottom to the top, only reversing the order of the lines and not the words in each of them. See how the meaning changes entirely!
In case you needed it, here is the reversed version with the slightly different punctuation:
She used to
disappear.
Would
She
Wish that
People
Liked her?
No one around her
Is unwanted.
And she
Is good enough.
No one
Thinks
She
Is cruel.
A beauty.
Isn't
A terror, hated,
Is
She.
