Melissa's POV

It was Saturday. I was till laying on my bed suddenly I heard my phone vibrate beside my pillow, I slowly pick my phone, as I check the screen, it was unknown number I press the green button.

"Hello, I said

"Hello Melissa, how are you doing, the caller said

"I'm fine, good morning, please can I know who is on the line, name please, I said as I sit up right on my bed

"Melissa it's me Alexa, the caller said

"Oh Alexa, how are you, how did you get my number, I asked 

"I'm sorry if I collect your number without you permission, she said

"No you don't have to apology, I replied

"Okay, thanks, Mr Bill give me your number in the party, I ask he to give me your number, she said

"Okay, I'm sorry for leaving the party, I said

"It is alright Melissa, so I didn't call you because of that, I call you because I want to invite you to come with us for a family vacation, she said

"What!, A vacation, why me, I asked in surprised.

"I just want you to come, because you're my special friend, she said

"I'm sorry, I can't come, I said

"Why Melissa, don't worry Sofia is not coming, she breakup with Ethan already, by the way, Ethan didn't even like her, she said

"It's not that, it's because of my job, I can't just leave my work like that and go to a vacation, I said

"Oh sorry, but don't worry, I'll take care of that Melissa, I want you to come, she said

"By the way, which place are we having the vacation, I asked

"Dubai, she said

"Dubai!, So when are we going, asked

"Next weekend, she replied

"That mean next week Saturday, I asked

"Yes, but you need to come to spend night with us on Friday, she said

"Why, I asked

"Because we're leaving so early in the morning, she replied

"But I can till met up on Saturday, I said

"You can't, because we're leaving by 7am, she replied

"Okay, but I'll like to inform my Mom about it first because I can't leave this city without letting her know because it's my first time, I said

"Your first time, wow, okay, I'll be waiting then, she said

"Okay, thanks, I replied smiling

"Okay, by the way, save my number, bye, she said

"Yes I'll, bye, I replied.

She quickly hang off the call, I slowly stand up for the bed as I saw sky, she was staring me, I quickly carry her as I walk out of my bed.

I walk down stair, suddenly I stop, I was surprise as I saw what is in front of me.

"Veronica what the hell is going on here, I said

She quickly push the guy off her as she quickly wear her pant, the guy quickly wear his boxer and trouser.

"But you told me that no one is at home, he said

I gentling walk down stair as I stare at them, I sit down and look at them shock as the guy wear his shoes.

"I'm sorry, I though that she has gone to work, Veronica said

"Really, he said as he look at her.

"Okay, we can go to my room then please, Veronica said as she pleased him.

"Fuck you, I'm leaving now, and don't ever call me here, if you need me come to my house then, he said as he walk out.

"Fuck you too, Veronica said as she rest her back without not even wearing her bra

"Veronica can you please wear your bra and stop this madness of yours, stop bring different guys to this house, I said as I look at her

"Really Lisa, I'm not your kids, huh, Veronica replied

"I didn't said you're my kids, what I'm trying to say is that, get a one man for yourself and move on with your life with him, I said

"Lisa don't give me that shit babe, I've my own life to live nor a one man, Veronica said.

"You're not getting my point at all, why are you like this, Veronica said

"Because I don't want to be a heart break like you, babe, Veronica said as she look at me, I roll my eyes at her.

"You will never change at all, whatever is your life not mine, I said

"Now you're talking, Veronica said smiling as she cross her leg

I slowly stand up as I drop sky on the floor, as I walk to the kitchen.

"Veronica I'm going to a vacation with Alexa, I said as I bring out noodles.

"What!, Vacation!, Veronica said as she quickly stand up and walk to me.

I switch on the gas cooker as I put my pot on it and pour water inside my pot.

"Yes, before I'll say anything go on and wear you bra babe, you disgusted me, I said as hiss at her

"Okay fine, I heard you, she replied as she walk back to the chair and she put on her shirt and walk to me.

"So what vacation are you talking about, your work vacation, she asked

"No Vero, I'm going a vacation with Alexa, she call me this morning and ask me to come with them for a family vacation, I said as I put my noodles inside the pot.

"A family vacation, wow!, I'm coming with you, she said

"No you're not coming, I replied

"But Lisa you can't leave me in this house all alone, she said

"Sky is here with you, she can keep your company, I said as I prepare my noodles.

"What! A dog! C'mon Lisa! This isn't fair, so which place are their taking the vacation to, she said

"Dubai, and we are going there next weekend, that is on Saturday, I replied, as I've through preparing my noodles, I serve in two plates, one plate for Veronica and the other plate for me.

I walk to the dinning as I sit down and started eaten my meal.

"Dubai, that is a far place, have you told your Mom about it, she asked

"Nope,I replied as I sip my water.

"Lisa you need to be careful,you just met this family, she said as she eat her food.

I nod my head as I eat, we stop talking as we eat, I notice Sky staring at me, I look down at her, she staring at me with doe eyes, I understand that face, she is hungry, I quickly stand up and walk to kitchen,I bent down and open a brown cupboard, as I bring out Sky food, I bring out her plate and put a half cup of dried food and half cup of can dogs food to her, so I bring it to her in the living room and she started eaten it.

I went back to my food and start eaten it.

"Lisa can we go out for shopping, she asked

"Okay Vero, i replied.

And we eat our food happily.
