__Akari POV__

I walked into the classroom, certain that this place wouldn't be any different than the others. I, Nakahara Akari, had been switching schools almost every year either because of my comfort zone being snapped or the constant abuse I'd been facing. I stepped on the platform built for the teachers to give lectures on, trying to hide whatever parts of me could be hidden behind the teacher's desk. All eyes were on me which took away pretty much of the confidence I had left. Nonetheless, I had to ace this introduction."Hi! My name is Nakahara Akari, nice to meet you!" I said and bowed. Maybe too much enthusiasm, but I couldn't undo it. My weird act aroused whispers and attracted strange looks. I fiddled with my hands, bringing them under my sleeves. The teacher noticed my awkwardness and gestured for me to sit down in front of this dude who I thought was pretty attractive. I sat down and looked at the scenery outside the window, trying to avoid all the commotion in class and attempting to escape reality. The clouds were unusually pink today. There were too many birds in the sky. There were too many children out on the grounds. The happiness was unusual. I guess I kind of lost myself because I didn't realize when the teacher called out my name. I felt a finger poke my shoulder, which caused me to snap back to reality and jerk up."Well, the answer?" My teacher asked impatiently, rolling her eyes at me.Shit.I flipped the pages of the textbook, trying to find out what exactly was it that she asked me. The guy behind me whispered. "Hitler."Um- Uh- Hitler!" I said, acting as if I'd just found the answer in the book. The teacher gave me one last glare before returning her attention to the class. I flopped down in my chair in relief. I turned around to look at the boy. He was staring outside the window, the reflection of the clouds in his eyes was so... mesmerizing..."You're staring." He said, not taking his eyes off the window."Oh sorry... Um-"Kuro."Thanks for helping me Kuro! You're a lifesaver." I smiled. He didn't say anything, instead, he rested his chin on his hand, covering his mouth with it too. I slowly turned back to not risk another run-in with the teacher. Kuro...

~Kuro POV~
The class was buzzing with rumors and talks. Just a normal day, I guess..."Sup bro." A short boy with curly black hair replied. Akira, my closest most geek-like friend. "The sky," I replied, dully."D'you hear 'bout the new students." "Yeah... They're gonna be the same old, aren't they? Annoying girls and stuck-up guys."Not always. They say some cute girl's gonna join our class."I rolled my eyes and took a random seat. (time skip)"All right class, we have a few new students joining us... "The homeroom teacher said. The class perked up eagerly to see the new students. Three of them this time. Two guys and a girl. Just new students. Common people. I didn't like the way one of the new girls was looking at me. I guess it's rude to judge people from their first appearances..."Akari...you can go sit next to...Akira. Akira, I hope you'll help her with getting around the school." I turned back to face my friend sitting up ahead of me. A while later, the teacher started brooding off with the stupid history lesson. No shit was I going to listen to it."Akari, tell me the answer." The teacher called out. She jerked up and flipped through the pages immediately."Hitler," I whispered for no reason. She replied the same to the teacher. She turned back to face me, her brown hair glittering gold in the sun. her eyes seemed wary, as they'd lost their shine."Thanks...and you are..."Kuro," I replied, without glancing at her. I have no interest in further socializing. I didn't want to disappoint her, like millions of others.
