After saying goodbye to Mother and Father, I go into the train with Draco. He was in front of me, running his mouth about everything. I got tired of it so I tried to find my friends, Bianca Flint and Olivia Greengrass. I run down the hallway, the opposite direction of where Draco was going with his big mouth. When I couldn't see him anymore, assuming he found a cart with Pansy Parkinson in it, I bumped into something hard and got surrounded by the smell of deep cologne and pine.
Adrian Pucey
I haven't seen Adrian since last year, my eyes wandered around him, seeing that he still had his middle part with his dark hair that's always neat, except after quidditch matches. His blue eyes looked stern,
"Watch it, Malfoy." He brushed past me and entered into the cart that was right by us.
I was so distracted by Adrian that I didn't even realize that the cart he was headed into included Olivia and Bianca. They were already smiling at me, no, smirking at me because they just saw me crash into the Adrian Pucey. Flustered, I go into the cart trying to ignore the fact that Adrian and I literally bumped into each other a minute ago. I smiled to cover my embarrassment written all over my face. Though, it quickly went away when I saw the other people in our cart. Marcus Flint, Terence Higgs, and Graham Montague. I ignore the whistling that came from Higgs. How I want to punch him.
"Veronica!!" Bianca gets up and hugs me, Olivia joins us too.
We all sit down, and great, Adrian is sitting across from me. He looks back at me and gives me a slightly noticeable eye roll. I give him a quick scowl, although it hurts me to do that. I look out the window and think about my unhealthy crush over Adrian. I've had it since the third year when I joined the friend group with Bianca, Olivia, Flint, Higgs, Montague, and him. I don't even know why I'm so obsessed with him, he believes in pureblood supremacy, he's a player, and he hated me since day one.
"Veronica, VERONICA!" Olivia shouted my name in my ear,
"Merlin!" I respond to her with the same volume and tune she used, "What?" I look back at her with wide eyes,
"Stop day dreaming about Adrian and get your robes on! We're almost at Hogwarts!" Bianca says, shoving my robes in my hands. I panicked and looked at the boys after Bianca said THAT I WAS DAYDREAMING ABOUT ADRIAN but thankfully they've left the cart to change I assume. Olivia looks back at Bianca and then to me, "SO, YOU DO LIKE PUCEY!" She squeals, acting like a 6 year seeing a romcom movie for the first time.
"No, I don't! Why would I crush on someone who acts all bitchy at me?!" I muffle through my robes while changing.
"Cause you're the kinky type" Bianca responds while giggling and Olivia is on the floor dying of laughter.
"Nice one!" Olivia high fives Bianca,
" Whatever, my statement still stands, I don't like him!" I say before the boys enters the cart.
Olivia blows raspberries and Higgs enters the room with a smug smile on his stupid face.
"Who are we talking about ladies?"
"No one" I say, annoyed, and I glance at Adrian for a quick look and he's talking with Flint.
Do I actually like him?
