The Event

Ch 1: No response

It was the weekend, I was chilling at Aubrey's  house because I was supposed to spend all weekend there. Me and Aubrey decide that we are going to meet up with William at the park down the road, since we were bored. We are at the park for about an hour and a half when my brother, Noah, calls me saying that his 3 friends have not come back home from the beach, he seemed worried, he said that they have been gone since thursday afternoon. (i've been at Aubrey's house since friday morning) He said that he has texted and called all of his friends several times friday after I left and he hasnt gotten any responses. I begin to worry, I told him that I can try to contact them. I hang up the phone and tell my friends what is happening. They tell me that its best to contact them, so I do. Several hours pass by, no response from any of them, that is when I started to worry. Since I have bad anxiety, I start overthinking so much, I start to have a panic attack because I was also very close with his friends. Aubrey was able to calm me down so I can tell her what is happening. She goes to her parents asking if they can take me home so I can be with my brother. They said that they understand and that they were able to drop me off at my house.
