they didn't mean too. they really didn't.
they both were just too caught up in work to give attention to their poor baby.
dream was in his room working for hours on end. too focused on the screen in front of him to notice anything happening in his area.
sapnap was fed up, he just wanted some quality time with his boyfriends. sapnap was a man who needed lots of attention. dream and george knew this, it's what came in the terms and conditions policy when they came to be sapnap's boyfriend. but those stupid men just had to finish their work, that they already made bank off of.
so sapnap decided he should just go up there and steal his boyfriend from the computer that is brainwashing him up there.
so he does.
the raven-haired boy goes upstairs and searches for the office next to his and the honey blonde's shared bedroom. him, dream and george been together for two years now, which was also two years after they had started to live together.
sapnap still remembers the day they all got together. sapnap still fonds at the memory. but he has a task at hand, he cant get sidetracked.
"dream.." sapnap whines, leaning against the door frame. sapnap walks closer to dream's desk and gives him a soft kiss on the cheek to try and sway him, "come downstairs. i miss you so much,"
"baby, i have to finish up this project for work. the deadline is due later tonight. i'll join you when i'm done, 'k?" he ends it off with giving his baby next to him a quick peck on the lips, then focusing his eyes back onto the screen.
sapnap blankly stares at dream, "but i can just sit on your lap if it's not too much trouble. please dream.."
dream sighs and looks up at sapnap, "sap, baby, i really gotta get this done. i dont wanna get sidetracked by your beautiful body spread out across my lap, so please, just wait."
sapnap blushes but then sighs and walks out of the room, facing his rejection, going back downstairs, and waiting for his boyfriend to get his head out of a screen and come back to reality.
sapnap is meeted with his other boyfriend george who was coming back home since he went to go run some errands.
sapnap ran up to george, "georgie!" and gave him a hug from behind, taking george by surprise.
george turned and shoulders immediately easing, seeing the culprit behind his scare, "oh, hey, sweetheart. everything okay?"
"everything is fine, dream just has his eyes glued onto the computer and not-"
ring
sapnap stops in his tracks. you have got to be kidding me. he already knows how this is going to work.
george is going to excuse himself.
"hold on, sap, i have to take this."
and then forget all about him, being lost in his conversation.
he stares blankly as george walks away from him upstairs into their shared bedroom. that makes two of his boyfriends busy and unaware of the attention sapnap needs.

dream and sapnap were embracing each other. basking in each other's tenderness. holding each other tight, to where he could hear dream's heartbeat against his chest.
except dream was on a call with his company, completely ignoring sapnap's whines for attention.
dream was speaking statistics with his representatives that sapnap couldn't understand but he didn't care. he would keep whining and rubbing against dream until he got the attention he needed.
