Your cheeks became red as the potion wore off, bringing you back to reality as the both of you untangled from each other. Looking up, you saw Sebastian fumbling with his trousers and quickly putting them on.
"Sebastian, was that real?"
Sebastian froze. His hand balled into a fist as he turned to face you. Tears were welling up in your eyes, and the look on Sebastian's face turned to complete and loving concern. He relaxed his hand and sprinted over to your side, placing his hand on yours.
"Are you jesting? That was the best moment of my life. Yeah, we were under the influence, but that never changed how I felt about you. I am in love with you. I have been for so long. I've just been too afraid to ever say anything."
He paused, waiting for your response while looking into your eyes for any answer. You hesitated, your cheeks flushing red once again as you dropped your head down.
"Look at me. I want this forever. You and me. I want a life that suits us both, and I am willing to compromise where you need me to so we can do that. We're in this together. I belong to you."
Your head shot up at those last words. This was real.
Looking up into his eyes, you felt love; you felt safe. A smile crept onto your face as you jumped into his arms, embracing him in this tender moment. He wrapped his arms around you tightly, taking in your scent once again. Sebastian kissed your neck and held you close, not wanting to ever let you go. After a moment of stillness between you two, your head lifted and dragged its way towards him so that your noses were touching.
"I am so in love with you, Sebastian. Merlin, it feels so good to finally be able to say it."
You both laugh, entangled in each other's arms. Sebastian ran his hands though your hair, taking in how soft and luscious it was between his fingers. He was entranced by you - all of you. After spending so long pining after you, hiding his feelings in fear of it ruining your friendship with him, he was finally free.
"I guess we have some explain to do with everyone." you sighed as your fingers traced his bare chest.
"Uh...not to ruin the mood or anything, but I think all of Hogsmeade heard us. It didn't leave much to the imagination."
You both lost it, cackling into each other's shoulders until tears formed in your eyes.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
From the giggles heard behind the door, you could tell that at least Imelda and Natty were standing outside. Your eyes became wide; how long have they been there?
"Are you guys done fucking yet? Natty and I have two shots with your names on them downstairs!"
You heard a stumbling sound, quickly followed by Ominis cursing under his breath.
"Imelda, for Merlin's sake can you please leave them alone? You've already caused enough trouble as it is."
The girls laughed in unison, whistling and making wooing sounds, making both of you blush.
Sebastian grabbed your waist and brought you even closer to him, capturing your lips in another passionate kiss.
"We'll be down in a second! I just need another minute with my woman."
Your lips curled into a smile and a small chuckle escaped you.
"Your woman?" you mocked, raising an eyebrow to the handsome man in front of you.
"Mine. Mine forever."
