Chapter 6: Comfort

Player's POV

I was awoken in the middle of the night by a loud banging coming from Frisk's room so I got up and headed in there... Only to find Frisk crying and sans comforting them.

In my half asleep state I look around the room and see scratches on the desk and shredded up curtains and Frisk's bleeding hands.

I say as kindly as I can but in the most exhausted voice imaginable, "Alright what happened?"

Frisk looked a bit embarrassed and upset...maybe at themselves? sans just continued to sit there and sighed.

"Heya player. Can you get some bandages for frisk? They're in the first aid bag." Hey said in a sort of stern but soft voice and I immediately had flashbacks of the grilby's dinner cutscene and nodded.

"Oh course" I walk out of the room and head to the bathroom and find the first aid bag next to the isopropyl alcohol and grab the bandages from it before coming back into the room with bandages and gauze.

"Alright got all the stuff." sans nodded and I handed him the bandages and gauze. He managed to patch Frisk's hands up.

I could see how puffy Frisk's eyes were after all that crying.

'what happened?' I thought as I tried to put the pieces together and I didn't come up with anything. I then just sigh and smile softly and watch as sans patches Frisk's hands up then gets up and walks out of the room. 'He's probably exhausted' I think as I sit down next to Frisk.

"What happened?" I asked concerned.

"An argument" Frisk replied sounding sorrowful.

I nod and patted their back and let them rest their head on my shoulder.

"Okay" I say and then simply wait and let them fall asleep.

As Frisk fell asleep, I sat by them on a chair nearby so I could keep a watch on them...just in case.

Frisk slept soundly that night and looked so peaceful as they slept. I was mostly awake for the entire night half asleep but still somewhat awake to keep an ear out for Frisk, however, that didn't happen and frisk woke up safe, sound, and rested.
