Prologue

A/S Hey guys this is my first story on Wattpad and would really like some feed back. there will be a lot of errors cause I'm not the best writer out there but I'm only human so leave me comments and I'll try to update every week. OH! and if you have ideas on how you think the story should go I'm always up for new ideas! Thanks!

Hi. My name is Monique Bradfeild. I am a Wolf and Angel hybrid. No that does not mean my wolf has wings.  My wings stay transparent until I want them to appear.  It also gives me extreme speed 10× faster than a normal wolf.  Plus my healing is also faster than a normal wolf.  I am 5 foot 3 with very dark almost black hair and really dark brown eyes. My skin tone you ask? Well let's just say I'm mixed. My mom had an affair and well here I am. The illegitimate child of the delta in the black forest pack. After my mom had passed my "father" thought it was ok to ignore my presence for the rest of his life and if he does remember he has a daughter, biological or not, he just yells at me saying how I shouldn't even be here. How I ruined his life and all that stuff. I guess its better than somethings. But it still hurts. Oh well I suck it up and move on. My father is moving us to a different pack in California today. I don't really care because I just have one friend here. Everyone thinks that I'm just a useless bastard (literally). I just try not to listen to them.  When we first moved to this pack my father openly treated me like crap.  So all of the other wolves started to do it to.  Well, not everyone. My best/only friend sticks up for me. If he is around nobody even dares to look at me. I guess it helps that he is the beta of the pack. How the beta of the pack even noticed me I will never know, but now I can't imagine my life without him. This move to a new pack will be so hard without him.

BRING BRING BRING!!!!!

I look over at my alarm. It says its 6 am. Great! (insert sarcasm right...about...here!) Today is the day that my father and I are going to California. This will be my third pack in my 18 years of life.  That alone is completely unnatural, but add on top of it that my father is a delta. That makes it super unnatural.  See every pack has a hierarchy. It goes Alpha (the leader), Luna (the alphas mate), Beta (the second in command), Beta Female (the betas mate), Gamma (the third in command), Gamma Female (the third in commands mate). Now most packs have an extention to a Delta (the fourth in command) and Delta Female (the fourth in commands mate) but some packs don't find them necessary.

While I go to get ready all I hear is "Hey it is rude to keep a devilishly handsome man like me waiting!"

All I do is laugh at my only friend Josh. He has blonde hair and beautiful green eyes. He is about 6 foot 1 and doesn't miss a beat to make fun of my 5 foot 3 height. He has always been nice to me, but he doesn't know about my dad cause every time he's around my dad wants to play happy family, but I think Josh knows.  I'm to scared to confirm it.
"Coming!!!" I yell down the stairs. On my way down stairs I see through the window that my father is gone. Now I'm really happy. Once I get to the kitchen I see my best friend stuffing his face in a box of donuts I'm assuming he brought with him.  I burst out laughing as soon as I see him.  He stares at me confused for a second then joins in.  I wipe a fake tear away and make a fake pout.
"Where have you been for the past week.  It was torture here on my own without you". I say to Josh.
" Sorry the Alpha sent me on some errands. He wants to make a treaty with the Alpha of the Dusk Fall pack. Looks like I'll be going with you to your new pack!"
"That's amazing Joshie!!" I say jumping into his arms. I'm actually really happy I won't be on my own at this new pack. Hopefully by the time he has to come back I'll have made at least one friend.
" Hey Joshie can you help me load the truck please?" I say batting my eyelashes. He can never say no to this face.  He got this strange look on his face trting to say no but he caves in the end to my adorable face. He scrunched up his nose with distaste.
"Fine but you owe me some food women."
"Deal!". Frankly I love to cook and he loves to eat so this relationship works just fine.  He starts to grumble. He says something about spoiling me to much but I brush it off. I then skip down the hallway and start grabbing boxes and putting them in the moving truck.
We spent the rest of the morning loading the truck and by lunch time every thing is loaded and we are ready to roll. It only took us that long because we kept on having dance breaks and kareoke battles in the middle of working. I always won of course. I felt really lazy so I just took Josh out to Wendy's for a burger. We just talked and joked around until its time to go home. We get home and go inside and sit on the floor since we loaded the couch already.
" How long are you going to stay with me Joshie?"
"The alpha wants me to stay for a few weeks and try and make a treaty with their Alpha."
"I hope you can come to a treaty."
"I know Momo but it might not happen. They don't exactly need anything from us, so they have all the power." He says running his figures through his hair.
"Let's just not think about it. We are leaving soon so let's get ready. Who knows there could he cute guys their!". He said with such enthusiasm. Did I forget to mention Josh is gay?
We went up stairs to my room and started to get ready cause what I was wearing did not look good according to Josh. Me getting ready basically conceits of me pulling out clothes for Josh to put back in the boxes. Once we, aka Josh, finally decided what I'm gonna wear my dad had come home.
" Oh, hi Josh I didn't know you were coming over today." My dad said.
"Actually I will be coming with you for a few weeks."
"And why is that?"
"Alpha wants me to negotiate a treaty with the pack you are going to."
"The alpha could have asked me to do that."
"The alpha wants his beta to do it which is me, sir", He says with a bit of his Beta authority in it. "Besides we will no longer be your pack. Anyway, I will be staying with you and Momo here for about a month and a half. It might take longer you never know."
"Yes beta Josh." My dad said lowering his head in submition.
"Good. Now let's get going if we want to get there by night fall."  He turns and walks out the door not waiting for either of us.  My dad turns to look at me and says
"You worthless piece of shit how dare you embarrass me in front of the Beta!" 
How in the world is it my fault?! He turns and leaves the same way Josh did.  Not looking back to see if I was coming. I go back up stairs and grab my last two boxes filled with clothes and load them in the truck. I turn to see Josh in his car and my dad in his. I don't have one because my dad said
"A worthless brat like you doesnt deserve a fucking car. You can walk every where. You need to lose the weight anyway."  He said it so much I actually believe him some times. I push the thought out of my mind and turn and get in Josh's car and we head off.  Let the road to hell begin.
