Our Eyes Met

The weather is getting colder since summer already passed, now the wind is flowing all the fallen leaves from the ground.

The bus stop is filled with unfamiliar people who are waiting for their transport, coming from work and school.

Chaeyoung's POV:

I'm not well prepared for this weather, especially because the clouds are getting darker, this is a sign that it's gonna rain. Of course i didn't bring an umbrella, but i guess i just stay under this roof.

This place is fucking crowded and i can't even breathe properly, also because the social workers smell like the worst case of mold ever possible.

In fact, Chaeyoung loves the smell of the rain, since she finds it reasonably calming. She's an art student so logically speaking, she adores the beauty of nature.

Suddenly, a homeless man occupies her own space, asking for help.

-Hi, can you lend me some money I have a job but... but I got kicked out from my girlfriend and now she doesn't want to see me. Please give me some money..

A man turned to Chaeyoung to steal some money from her. He was reeked of alcohol, the odor from his body was even worse than the other workers.

-I don't know man. I didn't bring money.
Chaeyoung then gave him a bad look and stepped far from him.

-Hush. Wait, have i met you?

Then somebody with long dark hair, elegant facial feautures has appeared in front of her eyes.

-I'm pretty sure. Umm.. what's your name, of course if I can ask.

-Son Chaeyoung. Yours?

-Mina. I mean Myoui Mina!

-Oh! Wait are you japanese then? Japan is a country i would love to go to but the scholarship isn't enough at the time.

Chaeyoung had a sudden confession to Mina even if it's their first interaction after their small talk in the school toilet. (Yeah, it was still not a love confession)

-Great! Yes uhh.. I'm Japanese but my family came to Korea due to financial stuff and you know.. yeah..

After their mini conversation the bus has arrived in place.

-Should we sit together? If we will have space...

Then they started to walk towards the bus, in the extreme hurry somebody accidentally pushed Mina.

-Oh shit, you alright? Then Chaeyoung quickly grabbed her wrist.

-Haha,... I just got scared..

Mina's POV:

Holy shit this just feels like I'm in a K-drama or a female lead in an anime, I can literally feel butterflies in my stomach!!

Wait, I just knew Chaeyoung for a day. But somehow, this day already changed my mood. Nobody has EVER been so nice to me so far.

And now, we are already sitting together on the bus! I'm gonna tell mom that i finally have a real friend!!

(End of the POV)

-Mina you look excited. Let me guess, you.... are..

-Yeah what? I zoned out.

-Are you happy to see your family? Or do you have a boyfriend??

-U-um not really to be honest. Well, sometimes I just zone out. That's it.

Chaeyoung gave a weird look to her. She lifted her eyebrows and continued:

-Well you are definitely thinking about something... okay, I'll stop being curious. You might be just tired.

-Where do you get off?

-Near to Dongnae. So i should put on my backpack already.

Mina then looks at the time on her phone. It's 3:54 pm. She glanced at Chaeyoung for a short moment then asked:

-Also, can I get your... number? We should speak more!

-Well maybe tomorrow. Now go, get home earlier than me!

-Oh okay.. bye! See you tomorrow!

Then Mina grabbed her stuff and quickly got off. She was really uplifted because she definitely has someone to talk to, but since she barely got any trusted ones except her brother and parents, she is expected to be really happy about this.

-Oh my gosh! And she even looks so pretty! Waaah!

And suddenly she stopped, because her phone buzzed.

-Is this an update on Webtoon? Let's see..

No Mina, it's not. It was something more terrifying. A lot more.

-Who the hell is that?

UNKNOWN NUMBER(1)

Get lost fucking bitch. Our business is none of your business.

-Oh god.. this is so cool... but who the frick is messaging me with these?
