Cold, empty, sorrowful.
"I'm never good enough. I will amount to nothing."
The words in my head as I lie in bed.
The world seems asleep as I rise up.
I see my environment and it's thrashed with garbage and filth.
"I'll do it later." I say.
But I know I never will unless someone or something forces me to.
My eyes light up as I start to play.
My world is endless now.
Nobody to tell me rules or bother me about appearance, voice, and gender.
I'm free here. I'm safe here.
