"Would you look at that," coed a dangerous voice, making me freeze and the others to stiffen, turning around to face the man with a dark look on his grizzled face and a gun in hand. "Lloyd Garmadon is the green ninja."
"You've got to be kidding me," Kai snarled under his breath, balling his fists. "Jamie, again?" I hid behind Zane, feeling my stomach dip dangerously. "Of course it would be scum behind the mask," the Sargent Major snarled, pulling out his gun and aiming it at Lloyd. "And I knew we'd find you fucker's here." Lloyd scowled, fists clenched as his power began to swirl and glow around his hands. "We don't have time for this, old man!" he snapped. Sargent Major chuckled dangerously, cocking the gun and aiming between Lloyd's narrowed eyes. My heart leapt up my throat as I clutched Zane's sleeve in a white-knuckled grip. "I'll always have time to put the green ninja out of commission-"
"StOP- stop!" I scrambled from out behind Zane and stood in their firing range, hands raised, chest heaving. Fuckfuckyfckufucuufkc. "Get out of the way, Y/n," Lloyd growled, eyes flooding a burning, intense red, illuminated by the green of his power. Sargent Major dropped his gun, face pale. "Y/n?" Then his expression contorted into one of pure, unadulterated rage. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WITH THESE CROOKS?"
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TRYING TO SHOOT THE GREEN NINJA?!" I screamed back, whipping around to face him. "Are you a colossal idiot? Look around you, there's ghosts everywhere! People are in danger and you two-" I turned to shoot Lloyd with a withering glare. "- are having some kind of patty just because you don't like one another?! My GOD, this ISN'T THE TIME!" "That didn't answer my question," Sargent Major growled, eyes flashing dangerously. "What are you doing with these people?" "Get out of the way, Y/n," Lloyd snarled again. "If you haven't NOTICED I'm trying to SAVE THE WORLD AND YOU TWO ARE NOT HELPING." "Let's all calm down," Garmadon said as he stepped forward with a strained smile on his face. He was shooting withering stares at Sargent Major. "Can't we discuss this at a later time? Then all questions-" now his scathing stare shot to me and I felt myself wither. "- can be answered."
