The Mansion of Gloom

We're at the Mansion Entrance of this dark and cold place. Some say it was a museum, others think it was just a regular mansion until the dark element took over the place, making it dark, yet darker.

Cynder: Who does he think he is?! These undead ghosts will have some work to do when we catch up with him!

Knightmare: Stay calm, Cynder. We need to keep calm and assess the situation with a clear head.

Some voice was talking to us. It was Nightshade.

Nightshade's Voice: Wise words to teach the young ones, wise words indeed. I must say, I'm impressed you were able to find me. I applaud your efforts, but they'll prove futile. Don't be too hard on yourselves though, many have failed against me.

Knightmare: ...

Cynder: ...

Knightmare spoke up, sounding mad.

Knightmare: You heard him right?! That scoundrel! My dark sword will have EXTRA work to do when we catch up with you...!

Cynder: Umm... Didn't you say like two seconds ago that we need to stay calm?

Nevertheless, we head inside the mansion, faced dark villains, and even training for the end so that we're prepared to face Nightshade.

We have made it to the end and there was Nightshade with the Book. This is turning out for the better, unless he's up to something.

Nightshade: Bravo, Skylanders. Now feast your eyes on one of my most prized artifacts.

Celio: There it is, the Book of Dark Magic!

Nightshade: That's right. Stolen by yours truly for my exclusive collection, where it will stay. But, if you want to try and take it, I won't stop you... I love a good fight. Why? Because I always win. Now then, let's get to it, shall we?

We simply beat Nightshade by figuring out the real one is. And thus, Nightshade was defeated.

Nightshade: Victory was stolen from my grasp. Not the outcome I was expecting. As promised, the Book is yours.

Nightshade hand the Book to me as I look at it. Something must be wrong. I could have sworn Nightshade was pulling my leg there.

Celio: Just like that? Wait, you're up to something...

Nightshade: Oh, did I mention that this is MY own defeat? The remaining Doom Raiders' plans are well on schedule.

Just as I knew, the Book was turned to dust!

Wolfgang: What?! The Book you just gave us... It turned to dust?!

Nightshade: The real Book is safe with Luminous at the Shrine of Light. Yes, he's Light and I'm Dark, but you're Skylanders. And "the enemy of my enemy is my friend," right?

He's not wrong. I can tell that.

Wolfgang: I guess you're right.

Nightshade: I guess it's time to bid you all farewell. Yours truly, the best thief in all of Skylands, has got other valuables to steal. Best of luck with the Book, if you can even get to it!

Nightshade left. It's only a matter of time left before Luminous destroys the Book of Dark Magic. We hurry as fast as we can, with all our might we exit The Mansion of Gloom.

When you first came here to the Ring of Heroes, fell through the sky into the arena, everything was a complete mess. Weird rifts in the sky, even weirder things coming in. You should've seen it yourself!

I think it must have unnerved even Chef Pepper Jack, and he's the type to enjoy this kind of terrorizing Skylands. You can tell when he completely forgot about the Book of Dark Magic and just came running for us, turning the villains evil and thus you as well!

Although as always, Master Eon tried his best to set things right, this incident was too much for a single person to handle. But, it seems I've only told you the bad side of the story so far.

I told you how good things also happened. And I think that this will be so from now on. I'm sure you already know this...

It's you, Skylander. You fought for and with us, alongside the Portal Masters. You're the best thing that could have happened to us at this time, and I mean it.

We've come this far, Skylander! Let's finish what we started!
